Abstract: Provided is a manufacturing method for porous resin microparticles comprising a step of heating a polyester thermoplastic resin having biodegradability to a temperature of at least 80°C and at most 200°C in a glycol ether solvent to obtain a solution, and cooling the solution to thereby precipitate the polyester thermoplastic resin as porous resin microparticles.
