The pair of pinch rollers (31,32) can pinch the sheet of paper (P) together with the belt (14), while maintaining the belt (14) flat. As such, an image of high quality can be formed, e.g., printed on the recording medium (P). Furthermore, the recording medium (P) does not divert from a transporting path.
