Abstract: This invention relates to an image information display system which has a digital image processing function and relates especially to an electronic presentation system which has a functioin to edit and prepare image data such as diagrams, photos and sentences, etc. used for so-called presentation in meetings, lectures, etc. and a display function. Specifically this invention provides an image information display system which can (1) display images for explaining about each image data on an image display means for the lecturer to shown clearly how to explain the lecture and allow him to select instantaneously desired image data watching the images on the image display means for the lecturer, (2) display the current time, time elapsed in the lecture, or remaining time, etc. by a clock function, and (3) allow a third person to evaluate the speed of speed of the lecture, attitude, loudness of voice, brightness, color, size, etc. of picture displayed on a large-size projector and display the message of the evaluation on the monitor for the lecturer.

Abstract: In a semiconductor assembly in which there are formed on a substrate a circuit having active semiconductor components and an electrically conductive line as well as a voltage supply line for feeding supply voltage to the circuit with the active semiconductor components and a signal line for inputting a signal into this circuit, one of the following three measures is taken on its own or in combination: - the electrically conductive line is subdivided a number of times, and the wiring resistance of each line is reduced to a predetermined or smaller value such that each line has uniform line resistance; - a signal component which responds to a deterioration in the signal curve is added to a signal transmitted via a signal line, in order to achieve an improvement in the deterioration of the signal curve; and/ôor - a capacitance-forming electrode is arranged opposite the voltage supply line, and a capacitor is formed by a dielectric which is inserted between the voltage supply line and the capacitance-forming electrode in order to reduce unwanted radio-frequency signals which occur in the voltage supply line. As a result of these measures, the occurrence of irregular operation in the circuit having active components is reduced to a more substantial degree than before.

Abstract: An illuminating device is provided with a plurality of light source modules (LM) each of which has a light emitting element and a driver circuit for driving the light emitting element, and the illuminating device controls the driver circuit of each light source module individually. All the light source modules are grouped by having a plurality of light source modules arranged at intervals (d) as one group. A step of lighting light emitting bodies of the light source modules in the same group (for instance, LM (1, 1) · LM (1, 9)) simultaneously under predetermined conditions is performed in turn for all the groups. Based on the obtained light emitting quantity of the light emitting element of each light source module (LM), the driver circuit of the light source module is controlled. Thus, in a backlight device provided with a plurality of illuminating areas, the light emitting quantity in each illuminating area can be accurately corrected in a short time.
