Abstract: A switching power source, a method and a control chip for controlling a switching power source are provided. Abstract: A driving apparatus (100) for an LED lamp and an LED are provided. The apparatus (100) includes: an input module (10) connected with a power switch (101); a transferring module (20) connected with the input module (10) and LED lamp (103) respectively; a feedback module (30) connected with the transferring module (20) and input module (10) respectively; an energy storage module (40); and a driving chip (50) connected with the input module (10), transferring module (20), feedback module (30) and energy storage module (40) respectively.
