The sealing member (6) comprises: a sealing part (5); an operation part having a supporting portion (2), an operation protrusion (1) disposed on an upper surface of the supporting portion (2), and a deformable leg (4) depending from a bottom surface of the supporting portion (2); and a connecting part (3) connecting the sealing part (5) and operation part. The sealing part (5) has a maximum diameter greater than that of the connecting part (3).

The present disclosure discloses an electric connector and a battery comprising the same. The electric connector includes a leading-out sheet, and a plurality of connecting sheets welded to the leading-out sheet, each connecting sheet comprising at least two welding portions; wherein the leading-out sheet and each connecting sheet are separate parts. The electric connector according to the present disclosure is convenient in welding, simple in structure, low in process cost, stable and reliable in structure and high in safety.

A battery cover plate assembly, a single battery, a battery module, a power battery pack, and an electric vehicle are provided. The battery cover plate assembly includes a cover plate, an electrode terminal, a current interrupt structure, and an arc extinguishing portion. The electrode terminal is disposed on the cover plate and includes an electrode inner terminal and an electrode outer terminal. The electrode inner terminal and the electrode outer terminal are electrically connected through the current interrupt structure. The current interrupt structure is capable of disrupting the electrical connection between the electrode inner terminal and the electrode outer terminal under the action of a gas pressure. The arc extinguishing portion is configured to at least reduce an electric arc generated when the current interrupt structure disrupts the electrical connection between the electrode inner terminal and the electrode outer terminal. When the electrical connection between the electrode inner terminal and the electrode outer terminal is disrupted, an arcing effect is generated due to high voltages at positive and negative electrodes of the battery. In this case, the arc extinguishing portion at least reduces the electric arc, so that gas between two disconnected structure members in the battery cover plate assembly is not easy to be broken down, thereby avoiding dangerous accidents such as battery burning and explosion and improving safety performance of the battery.

The present disclosure provides a compound explosion-proof valve mounted on a battery cover plate assembly, a cover plate assembly containing the explosion-proof valve, and a battery. The compound explosion-proof valve includes at least two layers of explosion-proof membranes and a flame-retardant structure located between the at least two layers of explosion-proof membranes. When the battery (such as internal temperature or internal pressure) is abnormal, the first layer of explosion-proof membrane is opened; under the action of the flame-retardant structure, the compound explosion-proof valve is in a local oxygen-deficient state, and it is difficult for a high-temperature combustible matter ejected from the battery to ignite under the local oxygen-deficient condition; therefore, the compound explosion-proof valve is capable of reliving pressure in time when the battery is abnormal and effectively isolating external oxygen from entering, thereby preventing occurrence of battery combustion and explosion and avoiding secondary disasters and larger abnormity.

The battery (1) further includes a first tab (13a) and a second tab (13b) respectively led out from the core (11), the first tab (13a) being electrically connected to the housing (10), the first tab (13a) being electrically connected to the first terminal (12a) through the housing (10), and the second tab (13b) being electrically connected to the second terminal (12b).

The battery cover plate assembly includes a cover plate, an inner lead-out member, and an outer electrode terminal. The inner lead-out member and the outer electrode terminal are electrically connected by using a current interrupt apparatus. A flipping member of the current interrupt apparatus is electrically connected to the outer electrode terminal. A score member is electrically connected to the inner lead-out member. A score is formed on the score member and is electrically connected to the flipping member. The inner lead-out member is mounted on the cover plate through a cover plate insulator. The cover plate insulator has a first engagement portion engaged with the cover plate and a second engagement portion engaged with the inner lead-out member.
