Abstract: The continuous casting method causes the final solidification portion to be displaced from the central portion of the cast member to reduce the influenc e of cast defects which may be generated on a plastic worked article. In a continuous casting method for continuously manufacturing a cast member by driving a plurality of rotational molding members disposed so as to form a casting space, the plurality of rotational molding members are differentiate d in temperature. In a preferable embodiment, a portion of one of the rotation al molding members which starts to come into contact with molten metal is set t o a temperature of [(melting point or liquidus temperature of the metal) x 0.3 5] or more, and the other of the rotational molding members are cooled.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metal refining method and apparatus, etc., by which the refining efficiency can be improved and the obtained refined metal weight is increased by preventing the metal crystallized under state of high solidified speed from being exfoliated from a cooling body after growing to some extent.
SOLUTION: In the method for refining the metal, crystallizing a high purity metal on the cooling body surface while rotating the cooling body 3 by dipping the cooling body 3 into molten metal 2 to be refined; the maximum rotating speed of the cooling body 3 at the front-half of the initial stage of the refining, is set at higher than the average rounding speed after the initial stage of the refining and the average rounding speed of the cooling body at the rear-half of the initial stage of the refining, is set at lower than the average rounding speed after the initial stage of the refining to perform the refining.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cooling body which is used for a metal refining method, by which the cooling body is immersed into the molten metal to be refined to crystalize a high purity metal on its surface while rotating the cooling body, and to provide the metal refining method in which there is unnecessary to exchange the whole of the cooling body even if wear deterioration is caused on the surface of the cooling body with the lapse of time so as to prevent the occurrence of wastefulness in material, cost face or the like.
SOLUTION: The cooling body 3 is formed in such a manner that a plurality of adjoining divided bodies 35, 36, 37 divided in the upper and lower directions are separably connected and fixed by screwing or the like.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a continuous casting method for deformed materials where fine solidification control is possible and mass productivity is excellent. SOLUTION: A ring-shaped continuous belt (12) is hung over each outer circumference of a casting wheel (11) in which the outer circumference is provided with a plurality of recess-shaped casting cavities (20) and a hole (14) for tension regulation, a casting spaces formed in such a manner that the continuous casting belt (12) closes the casting cavities (20) are fed with molten metal (M), and further, the casting wheel (11) and the continuous belt (12) are rotated, thus deformed materials (S1) corresponding to the shape of the casting cavities (20) are cast-out. Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the constitution member of a seat frame which can simply be manufactured with the minimum number of parts, and a method for manufacturing the same. SOLUTION: As material for manufacturing a seat-part frame and a seatback frame being the constitution members of the seat frame 1, the seat frame is provided with an extruded aluminum material 15 having a pair of bar-like edge frame forming parts 16 arranged separately in parallel and a plate-like receiving plate forming part 17 positioned between both of the parts 16 and connecting both of the parts 16 integrally. A large number of slots S are formed in staggering pattern at the part 17 of this material 15. Stretching work for expanding both of the parts 16 in a separating direction is given at the part 17 to expand the part 17 in the state of a net to forming a receiving plate part 12.
