Abstract: A product stabilizer (14) for fruits and vegetables (12) on a moving belt (10) includes a very flexible rubber bladder (21), forming an airtight chamber between two hubs (19) which are mounted for rotation astride the conveyor belt (10). The bladder (21) is inflated to relatively low pressure less than 1 psi. When the product passes under the pliable surface (21) of the inflated bladder (21), the bladder (12) conforms to the product (12) and serves to stabilize the product (12).
