Abstract: Avionics Video Source Simulator An avionics video source simulator and a method of avionics video source simulation are disclosed. The avionics video source simulator comprising: a decoder unit for decoding an input video signal into a digital video signal; a static video pattern generator; a converter unit for converting the digital video signal into an analogue avionics video format or for generating a static video pattern in the avionics video format based on control signals received from the static video pattern generator; a data storage unit having pre- stored therein a plurality of sets of parameters associated with different respective avionics video formats; and wherein the converter unit is controlled based on a selected one of the sets of parameters
