Die Erfindung betrifft eine Beleuchtungs- und Bildaufnahme-Einheit (30, 110) zum bewegbaren Anbringen an einem Fahrzeugkörper (10, 120), mit einem bewegbaren Abschnitt (31, 116), der ein Bildaufnahmeabschnitt (32, 114) mit zumindest einer Kamera (33, 180), ein Beleuchtungsteil (34) mit zumindest einer Lichtquelle (35) und einen Abschlussabschnitt (36) trägt, wobei der bewegbare Abschnitt (31, 116) zwischen einer Ruhe- und Verstauposition, in der der Abschlussabschnitt (36) eine Aufnahme (20, 122) in dem Fahrzeugkörper (10, 120) abschließt, und zumindest einer Betriebsposition, in der die Kamera (33, 180) Videobilder aufnehmen und die Lichtquelle (35) Licht aussenden kann, translatorisch und rotatorisch bewegbar ist, wobei die Translationsrichtung (124) zumindest teilweise im Wesentlichen senkrecht zu einer Außenfläche des Fahrzeugkörpers (10, 120) und/oder im Wesentlich horizontal verläuft, und wobei die zumindest eine Lichtquelle (35) Bestandteil eines Seitenbegrenzungslichts, einer Umfeldbeleuchtung, einer Signal- oder Warnleuchte, eines Blinkers, eines Camper-Lichts, einer Laseranzeige, einer Logolampe, einer Bodenleuchte und/oder eines Projektors ist. The invention refers to a heater pad (24, 24´), comprising a circuit comprising at least one heating line (27´) and being connectable with a power source and/or a control unit, at least one recess (28) into which a light module (21, 21´) is to be inserted, and contacts (25) for contacting a printed circuit board of the light module (21, 21´), wherein the circuit is electrically connectable to the printed circuit board of the light module (21, 21´), which has no power stripes, via the contacts (25), which are provided in an area overlapping and holding the light module (21, 21´).

The invention refers to a backing plate unit for a rear view device for a motor vehicle, comprising: • at least one opening passing from a rear side (112, 212) of a backing plate (100, 200) to a front side (224) thereof to form a logo pattern (122, 222) by itself, • first attachment means on the rear side (112, 212) of the backing plate (100) for a light source (500), and • light filter means and/or at least one extension (220), which is extending from the front side (224) of the backing plate (220), in the region of the logo pattern (122, 222). The invention also refers to a method for producing such a backing plate unit and a rear view device with such a backing plate unit.

A rear view device for a vehicle for optimizing airflow includes a spoiler, the spoiler including a flexible surface layer (which is reversibly deformable and which is arranged to cover an opening in a surface of the rear view mirror. The spoiler may include at least one stamp having active material for deforming the flexible surface layer where the at least one stamp is adapted to translate between a retracted and a deployed position.

The invention relates to an adjustment assembly for adjusting the reflective surface of a glass assembly (18) in a vehicle outside mirror, two linear adjustment motors (20) engaging with two points of the glass assembly, the adjustment motors (20) being mounted between the glass assembly (18) and a mirror carrier (2) in the mirror head, characterized in that the adjustment motors (20) are connected to the glass assembly (18) and/or to the mirror carrier (2) via at least one elastomeric connecting piece (30, 31).

A backing plate unit for a rear view device for a motor vehicle includes at least one opening passing from a rear side of a backing plate to a front side thereof to form a logo pattern by itself, first attachment means on the rear side of the backing plate for a light source, and light filter means and/or at least one extension which is extending from the front side of the backing plate in the region of the logo pattern. A method for producing such a backing plate unit and a rear view device with such a backing plate unit are also described.
