Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inexpensively produce a rod stock or a wire rod each having a smaller cross section than 5.5 mm at a lower rolling speed but with no change in manufacturing quantity using a hot rolling method. SOLUTION: A continuous casting and hot rolling mill is characterized in that a number of rod stocks or wire rods are concurrently, simultaneously and changeably manufactured. The mill comprises a continuous casting means (1) having a changeable forming means for continuously feeding a number of stripe materials, rod stocks and wire rods on a plurality of lines for concurrent manufacturing, and a vertical rolling means and a horizontal rolling means for continuously hot-rolling a number of the strip materials, rod stocks and wire rods.
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To raise the output of a rolling block, to suppress the outside dimension of a rolling line, especially of a wire-rod rolling line, to the minimum, and also to simplify the structure of the rolling block. SOLUTION: In a compact rolling block provided with two horizontal and parallel rolling lines L1, L2, this compact rolling block is provided with three peripheral transmission shafts 2, 3, 4 at the corners of an equilateral triangle. In this triangle, vertical stands VL, VR which are outward inclined are moved with the two peripheral transmission shafts 3, 4 on the lower side, and horizontal stands OL, OR which are inclined in the opposite direction are supported with the peripheral transmission shaft on the upper side. All the rolls of these stands are perpendicular to the two rolling lines L1, L2 and congruent.
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce a metallic bar or a metallic wire rod having smaller cross sectional surface than 5.5 mm diameter and quantitatively obtaining the same production with lower rolling speed in comparison with the conventional method by using a hot-rolling method. SOLUTION: A fluid forming die (10) is provided with many forming holes lined up on the straight line and mutually separated to directly produce many bars and wire rods (b1, b2, b3,...bn) to be rolled. Further, the fluid forming die (10) for continuously cast material is connected with a tension means having compressed rolls and in this method, the continuously cast material is formed of many bar-state shapes (b1, b2, b3,...bn) and the shape of the bar-like material is formed of a round shape, an elliptic shape or polygonal shape to forcibly pass the continuously cast material through the fluid forming die (10).
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture a metallic bar material or a metallic wire material having a cross sectional area of 5.5 mm or smaller diameter likewise by means of the hot rolling means in the quantatively same condition but in a lower rolling speed. SOLUTION: Specified number of vertical rolling roll pairs are installed dividedly in at least two lines 61, 62 in the vertical rolling means 6. Respective vertical rolling roll pairs of the first line 61 are arranged in the deviated manner from the vertical rolling roll pair of the nearest second line 62 and one of a wire like material/a bar material/a wire is rolled by means of the first line 61 of vertical rolling roll pair and the second wire like material/bar material/ wire located in the nearest position is guided along the side of the vertical rolling roll pair of the first line 61 and rolled by the corresponding vertical rolling roll pair arranged in a deviated manner in the second line 62.
Abstract:
The flow form die has at least four molding holes which are aligned and spaced from each other. The flow form die is connected to a draw mechanism with squeeze rolls, in order to force the continuous casting material through the flow die, so that the casting material takes the shape of sausages. A tunnel-shaped induction preheater oven is provided after the draw rolls.
