Abstract: A thin film magnetic head whereby an inclined surface is formed with a prescribed angle relative to the upper surface of the substrate (31) in the vicinity of a slide contact surface thereof with a magnetic recording medium, the magnetic gap (g) is formed on the magnetic film on the inclined surface, and the azimuth (ϑ) of the magnetic gap (g) is set by the inclined surface.By forming grooves or protrusions on the substrate (31), the inclined surface by which the azimuth (ϑ) of the magnetic gap (g) is set is defined. A coil conductor is formed on the flat portion of the upper surface of the substrate.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To facilitate to regulate an insulation film, integrated on a coil conductor by forming a first insulation film on the coil conductor, and finishing etching at the point of time of the exposure of the terminal point detecting film, after forming a terminal point detecting film to tell the time of the finish of the etching and a second insulation film on it and making its upper surface flat. CONSTITUTION:An insulation layer 8, a conductor forming resist layer 9 and the coil conductor 10 are formed on a lower magnetic body 4 formed on a substrate by a prescribed production process. Next, the first insulation film 12a is formed of SiO2, etc., on this conductor 10, and the terminal point detecting film 12b is formed of a metallic film of Ti, Cu, etc., on it by using sputtering, and further, the second insulation films 12c, 12d are formed of an SiO2 film and resist film, and the upper surface is made flat. Then, the second insulation films 12c, 12d are etched extending over a whole surface, and when the terminal point detecting film 12b is exposed, the etching is finished. Thus, since the etching is started from the state that the upper surface is flat, the insulation film can be easily obtained under good controllability.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To improve the patterning precision of a coil conductor and an upper magnetic film by lowering the height of steps near tracks, which are generated when a lower magnetic film is divided into tracks, by an insulating film and forming the coil conductor and the upper magnetic film on it. CONSTITUTION:The first insulating film 12 is formed to cover one plane of a substrate 11 and is subjected to plasma etching to form grooves 13 whose width is approximately equal to a prescribed track width. After a ferromagnetic amorphous alloy is formed on all of the surface of the first insulating film 12 including grooves 13, ferromagnetic metallic materials in parts other than grooves 13 are removed by ion etching or the like to form a lower magnetic film 14. Consequently, the lower magnetic film 14 is packed in grooves 13. Thus, the height of steps due to the lower magnetic film 14 is reduced by the first insulating film 12 in the part near a front gap. Coil conductors 15 and gap spacers 16 are formed by the semiconductor production process like a photolithography technique.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To reduce the area of a head and surely connect it to an external driving circuit by forming a conductive metallic film, which is made conductive to the end face of a leading-out part exposed to a cut face, on the cut face. CONSTITUTION:A length L of a thin film magnetic head element part 6 is set to a conventional value, and a length M of a leading-out part 7 is made shorter, and a protective film is formed to cover an upper magnetic film 5, and a nonmagnetic joining material 9 is packed by melting and is made flat, and a protective plate 10 consisting of nonmagnetic materials is joined to the whole of a wafer 1 by welding. The water 1 is cut along the cut face pproximately vertical to an upper face 1a of the wafer 1 so that each leading- out part 7 is cut, thereby obtaining a head block. Plural head blocks are piled up in the thickness direction and are fixed, and a conductive metallic film 14 is formed on all of cut faces of these head blocks, Dividing grooves 14a and 14b are formed in a grid so that end faces 7a of leading-out parts 7 are in-dependent of one another to obtain plural electrode parts 15 for external connection by which the element part 6 is connected to the driving circuit.

Abstract: PURPOSE: To give various shapes by selecting shape of a bag body to construct an aimed decorative body, by means of making the bag body made of a flexible thin film into a predetermined shape expanded by buoyant force of balloons stored in the bag body. CONSTITUTION: A decorative bag comprises a bag body 1 with at least more than one opening 1a, 1b and made of a flexible thin film, and plural balloons 2 capable of filling gas lighter than air. These balloons 2 expand the bag body 1 to give a predetermined shape, and a fixing tool 3 is set at the proximity of at least each one opening 1a, 1b. The bag body itself is floated in the air in a condition keeping the prescribed shape and engaged to the ground and so forth to increase event effect.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To easily obtain a double azimuth thin film magnetic head by previously providing grooved parts or trapezoidal parts on a part of a substrate near the surface which faces a magnetic recording medium to form sloped surfaces inclining at a prescribed azimuth angle with the front face of the substrate and cutting apart the substrate in the direction perpendicular to the front face thereof. CONSTITUTION:The plural sloped grooves 13 are provided on the part 12a, near the surface to face the magnetic recording medium, of the front face 12 of the magnetic substrate 11 subjected to a plane treatment to form the sloped surfaces 13a inclining at a prescribed angle theta of inclination. The angle theta of inclination of these surfaces is set as the azimuth angle of the magnetic gap in correspondence to the magnetic surface of the sloped surface 13a. After an insulating film is formed over the entire surface of the front face inclusive of the surfaces 13a, a conductive metallic material is deposited on the flat part 12a and is patterned and etched to a prescribed shape to form coil conductors 14. The conductors 14 are further coated with an insulating film and leading out electrodes 15 to be electrically connected to the conductors 14 through contact windows formed to said insulating film are formed. The constitution of the double azimuth thin film magnetic head is thus facilitated.
