Abstract: PURPOSE:To prevent deterioration of pulse characteristic and generation of color smear by inserting a circuit, in which blue primary signal voltage becomes larger than red primary signal voltage when the ratio of input to output is located on the white level side more than a certain specified level, into the front stage of a video output circuit and controlling color temperature so as to have desired characteristic. CONSTITUTION:Red, green and blue primary signal voltage outputted from color decoder 10 is added to the bases of transistors TRQR, QG and QB through resistance RXR, RXG and RXB of linear or nonlinear circuit 40. The output of TRQR, QG and QB is supplied to video output circuit 20 through drive adjusting volumes RDR, RDG and RDB. The bases of TRQR and QG are connected with the emitter of TRQO through the series circuit consisting of resistance RYR and RYG and diodes DR and DG and voltage VO is applied to the base of TRQO. When red and green primary signal voltage is higher than level VO, a blue primary signal is extended and the color temperature of image receiving tube 30 is controlled to desired characteristic, preventing the generation of color smear.
