Abstract: PURPOSE:To utilize the output of an RF converter irrespective of recording and reproducing, and to reduce power consumption, by giving the function of the power supply switch of the RF converter to a channel change-over switch. CONSTITUTION:When the (d) and d' of switches 101 and 102 are switched to the (a) and a' or the (b) and b', a selection of crystal oscillators 11a and 11b, the change-over of the band of a band pass filter 12, and the power supply from a power source 2 are performed and a high frequency oscillator 11 oscillates at the frequency of channels set by means of the switches 101 and 102. A video signal supplied to a terminal 17 is supplied to a mixing circuit 15 via a video limiter 14 and an audio signal from a terminal 18 is supplied to the mixing circuit 15 after it is passed through an emphasizer 19 and modulated at a frequency modulator 16. The outputs are fetched as the output of the RF converter through the band pass filter 12 after they are amplitude modulated at an amplitude modulator 13. When the RF converter is not used, the switch 10 is switched to a (c) side.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To make it possible to accomplish prompt shift to reproduction by supplying an automatic changing device with pulses of such a frequency as is substantially equal to that of the CTL pulses to be reproduced in case a temporary stop or a high speed condition effected during the reproduction. CONSTITUTION:There is provided an automatic tape speed changing device of the type, in which the pitch of the CTL pulses recorded in a tape during reproduction is detected by a CTL head 12 and fed to an automatic change-over circuit 13 to discriminate the tape speed during the recording operation so that the tape speed during the reproduction may be automatically concident with that during the recording operation. In the tape speed changing device, in case the temprorary stop or the high speed condition is effected during reproduction, the CTL pulses to be fed from a CTL head 12 are blocked at the time of the stop or high speed condition and the rise time of a servo circuit 14 after the conditions are released, and the pulses of 30 Hz, which are to be reproduced during the normal running condition and which are substantially equal to the CTL pulses, are fed from an oscillator 1 to the automatic change-over circuit 13 and are stored so that they are detected again upon shift to the reproduction.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To ensure the characteristics equal to the normal recording for an original recording signal and a double recording signal obtained after the double recording, by providing an equalizing circuit for normal recording signal, an equalizing circuit for original recording signal and an equalizing circuit for double recording signal respectively. CONSTITUTION:An equalizing circuit 11 for normal recording signal contains a peaking circuit and gives a compensation having flat frequency characteristics to a recording signal S11. An original recording signal is extremely lowered at a high band and during the double recording mode, and an equalizing circuit 12 compensates this reduction of the original recording signal. For the compensated original recording signal S14, the characteristics of a high band obtained with the deterioration of characteristics produced when the double recording is given to a double recording signal S15 are set close to the characteristics obtained from the normal recording. An equalizing circuit 13 lowers the compensating level to give a compensation to the rise of level at a high band. The compensated signal S15 compensates the deterioration of characteristics due to the second double recording. The output signals S13, S14 and S15 which are compensated by the circuits 11, 12 and 13 respectively are transmitted to a recording/reproducing head 1 via a switching circuit in the corresponding mode.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To prevent an influence on tape tension by a simple constitution by controlling the contact and separation of a pinch roller to and from a capstan after controlling the braking of a take-up reel by a signal delayed by a fixed period of time according to a control signal. CONSTITUTION:With switch 1 operated, FF3 is set to set a pause stand-by mode and with switch 1 operated again in succession, the pause state is set invert the set output of FF3, thereby setting FF6 synchronizing with control pulse VD formed of a vertical synchronizing signal through NAND gate 4. The Q output of this FF6 places the recording system of VTR in muting mode and also brakes a take-up reel through solenoid 20. On the other hand, the Q' output of FF having passed through inverter 7 is delayed by a fixed period of time by delay circuit 22 to keep the balance of the back tension of a tape through solenoid 21 and then the pinch roller separates from the capstan. Pause reset operation is similarly performed and the run start and stop of the tape can be controlled excellently without exerting an influence upon tape tension.
