Abstract: A hinge for electronic apparatus effects heat dissipation without having to increase the size ofthe electronic apparatus. Abstract: A portable electronic device such as a portable personal computer has a first part such as a main unit incorporating a heat-generating component, e.g., a CPU, a second part such as a display unit, and a connector for pivotally connecting the first and second parts. Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To radiate heat without making the size large by mechanically coupling a 1st and a 2nd part with each other to open and close the 2nd part from and to the 1st part and conducting the heat from a heat generation source arranged at the 1st part to the 2nd part. SOLUTION: A substrate 36 is arranged in a case 2B and a central processor 25 is mounted on the substrate 36. A case 3A and the case 2B are coupled mechanically by a hinge 1B so that they can be opened and closed, and the heat of the central processor 35 is thermally transmitted from the side of the case 2B and substrate 36 to the side of the case 3A. Thus, the heat is conducted from the side of a main body 2 which is relatively large in heat generation rate to the side of a display part 3 which is relatively small in heat generating value to prevent the heat from staying in the main body 2 of a computer 100, thereby easily diffusing or dispersing the heat to the side of the display part 3. Namely, the heat can easily be dispersed or dillused only by using the hinge 1B without providing any special heat sink, heat conduction fan, etc.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery for an electronic apparatus that may totally solve causes preventing the thinning because of an outer battery and may be easily slid when the battery is removed. SOLUTION: In a battery 200 for an electronic apparatus mounted on a connecting device portion of a main body installed between opening and closing device portions having hinge devices 1A, and 1B of a pair of substantially circular cylinder, the battery 200 comprises a connecting device portion of the battery and a guide device portion of both ends thereof. The connecting device portion of the battery is formed of substantially circular cylinder shape with diameter substantially equal with diameter of hinge devices 1A and 1B, is mounted on the main body such that on extension line of axis of the substantially circular cylinder shape is positioned revolution center of hinge devices 1A and 1B, and is detachably inserted into the connecting device section of main body. The guide device portion of the both ends guides insertion and removal of the battery 200 in the direction of movement and cooperates with mounting of electric connecting terminal, thereby being mounted in a state that a center axis of the battery 200 coincides with a center axis of the hinge devices 1A and 1B.
