Abstract: PURPOSE:To ensure an excellent S/N and a wide dynamic range of the sound signal, by supplying the FM modulated sound signal to a rotary magnetic head with no mixture with a video signal and recording the sound signal at a high recording level. CONSTITUTION:Left and right signals SL and SR are modulated by FM modulators 6 and 7 as well as 11 and 12 and turned into FM modulated left and right signals of different frequency deviation bands. The signals LF1 and RF3 supplied from BPFs 13 and 15 are mixed together by a mixing circuit 17. The signals LF2 and RF4 are also mixed in the same way. Each mixture output and video signal are supplied to mixing circuits 21 and 22 and then recorded. In this case, the gains of variable gain amplifying circuits 18 and 20 are controlled with a control signal P, and the level of each mixture output is considerably reduced compared with the video signal. Thus the interferece is reduced to the video signal. When the recording is carried out with no mixture with the video signal, only the mixture output is supplied to the circuits 21 and 22 by a control signal Q. Then the gains of the circuits 18 and 20 are controlled, and the mixture output is supplied to the head with a sufficiently high level compared with the recording with mixture of the video signal. When a coincident signal from the video reproducing device side control means is supplied through the video reproducing device side communication means and the video printer side communication means to a video printer side control means, a frame video signal from a video reproducing means is stored in a video memory under the control of the video printer side control means.

Such signal R is held by a preholding circuit 63. Then recording reproducing switches 5-7 are switched when the signal U and the control signal P' are transmitted from the part 3. Thus the partial rewriting is performed for the color video signal which is supplied to an input terminal 2 in accordance with the signal R held at the circuit 63.

SOLUTION: When a power button of a video printer 20 is depressed, a moving image or a still image of a current video signal VS of a video equipment is displayed on a monitor 9. Whether the input video signal BS is a moving image or a still image is discriminated. The discrimination is conducted manually by the user and a changeover switch 14 is operated or a still image/ moving image detection circuit 13 is used to detect a motion of the input image for automatic discrimination. When the input image is discriminated to be a still image, a CPU 6 allows the monitor to display a guidance of depressing a print button 5a and also its still image immediately. When the user depresses the button 5a according to the guidance, the input still image is stored in a memory 4 and the CPU 6 allows a thermal head 12 to print out the image.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To stable the carrier frequency, by correcting the oscillating frequency while no modulated signal is supplied and having a control so that the corrected frequency is maintained as a center frequency even when the modulated signal is supplied. CONSTITUTION:Switches 2 and 9 are turned off and on respectively with a switching signal W. Then the output of a voltage control oscillator 5 is compared with that of a reference oscillator 7 by a phase controller 6. Those compared outputs are connected to the control input terminal of the oscillator 5 through a filter 8 via a buffer part 10. Under such conditions, the oscillating frequency of the oscillator 5 is corrected to the frequency of the oscillator 7. When the switches 2 and 9 are turned on and off respectively with the signal W, a modulated signal S is applied to the control terminal of the oscillator 5. In this case, the output voltage of the filter 8 obtained during correction is held at a capacitor 11 and then applied via the buffer 10.
