Abstract:
An apparatus and a method are proposed which enable an improved control processing for live streaming distribution of tuner received content from a server to a client. By setting a URL to a channel list as a set of channels, and transmitting a content acquisition request from the client to the server, wherein the channel list URL is designated, to a server, the client can collectively obtain rights to control all content on the channels listed in the channel list. By continuously using an HTTP connection set on the basis of a channel list, the client can switch channels.
Abstract:
To provide an apparatus and method for efficiently displaying image content, which is sent and received between a server and a client, in a correct direction. An image content providing server stores, as property information, original angle information indicating correct directions of image content as metadata of the image content. The server generates content information including the original angle information and sends the generated content information to a client. This allows the client to understand the correct direction of the image content received from the server, and to obtain and display image data in the correct direction by performing rotation processing in the client device based on the obtained information or to request the server to perform the rotation processing.

The content providing server sets content-associated unique identifier information as property information that is a component of content-associated metadata, maintains the unique identifier information as content-associated metadata without changing the unique identifier information even if the logical/physical position of a content stored in the storage unit is changed, and maintains a setting value of unique identifier information, which is set associated with a received content, as metadata associated with the received content without changing the setting value of the unique identifier information. By this configuration, even if a content is moved between servers, a client can acquire the content based on the unique identifier.

SOLUTION: In response to a request for acquiring device information from a client which is a device connected to a network, an information processor, having a server function, transmits service information and physical device information corresponding to the information processor to the client. The client side, on the basis of the physical device information included in the device information received from the server, generates and displays display data, having service information associated with a physical device. Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve shock resistance of a wiring board placed in a housing of an apparatus. SOLUTION: Shock absorbing members 13 and 27 are placed in parallel to the substrate sides of wiring boards 29 and 33. The shock absorbing members 13 and 27 supporting the wiring boards 29 and 33 are coupled to the housing 2 of an apparatus in order to mount the wiring boards 29 and 33 on the housing 2 of the apparatus. In this way, the shock applied to the housing 2 of the apparatus is not directly transferred to the printed wiring boards and vibrations of the wiring boards can be suppressed by the shock absorbers 13 and 27 which are parallel to the substrate side of the wiring boards 29 and 37.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a device and a method which efficiently and accurately construct an access control configuration of high security. SOLUTION: Only the MAC address of a controller (client) 351 which a user has authorized is authenticated and registered in a MAC address table of a device 352, and the device 352 executes MAC address filtering for permitting the access to the controller 351 (client) authenticated and registered in the MAC address table. Notification of the completion of registration and version adjustment are executed to construct a sure access control configuration. An apparatus authentication device avoids the access from a wrong party which is not authenticated neither registered, and a controller which tries to wrongfully authenticate an apparatus is made unaware of the existence of a server, so that access control of high security can be realized. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To communicate stably with a device to be controlled in two directions by designating the specific device to be controlled among a plurality of devices to be controlled which are arranged closely. SOLUTION: The device to be controlled is designated by using directional communication and stable two-way communication is carried out by using transparent communication with the designated device to be controlled. Here, provided is a means of informing a user that one device to be controlled can not be designated to make the user easily and specifically select the device when the plurality of devices to be controlled are close to one another and the device to be controlled can not be designated even through the directional communication.
