    Abstract: It is an object to quickly disperse heat generated when short circuit occurs between a positive electrode and a negative electrode. A nonaqueous-electrolyte battery is disclosed which incorporates: an encapsulating medium (2) constituted by a laminated film in which a unit cell (1) is accommodated, wherein the laminated film of the encapsulating medium contains a metal material having a heat conductivity k at room temperatures which is 230Wm K or higher. Moreover, ratio R of the volume of the metal material portion of the encapsulating medium with respect to a capacity of 1mAh of the unit cell is 0.0002cm /mAh ≤ R ≤ 0.003cm /mAh.

    Abstract: A non-aqueous electrolyte cell (2) is to be reduced in its projection area in a portable electronic equipment. A unit cell is housed in an exterior packaging material (3) of a laminated film, formed with a spacing (6) by deep drawing, and in which electrode terminal leads (4,5) electrically connected to respective electrodes of the unit cell are led out to outside from the inside of the exterior packaging material. The exterior packaging material is heat-fused around the spacing formed by deep drawing, with the heat-fused portion of said exterior packaging material being folded on itself except the heat-fused portion of said exterior packaging material from which are led out said electrode terminal leads, the folded exterior packaging material is immobilized by the dielectric sheet to the exterior packaging material.

    Abstract: A nonaqueous-electrolyte secondary battery (1) is disclosed which is capable of maintaining satisfactory adhesiveness of leads (3,4) of terminals of electrodes in heat-welded portions of a case (2) of the nonaqueous-electrolyte secondary battery without deterioration of the moistureproofing characteristics. A battery element is accommodated in a case constituted by laminated films such that the battery element is encapsulated by heat welding. Leads of terminals of electrodes electrically conducted with the electrodes which constitute the battery element are exposed to the outside portion of the nonaqueous-electrolyte secondary battery through heat-welded portions. Portions of the leads of the terminals of the electrodes corresponding to the heat-welded portions are coated with an olefine adhesive layer containing a titanate coupling material and a coating layer made of resin which is the same as resin which forms the innermost layer of each of the laminated films.
