    Abstract: An electronic apparatus for use in recording and/or playing back audio or video signals includes a six-sided housing of which at least a pair of opposite sides are arranged not parallel to each other, and a signal processor unit mounted in the housing and including at least a circuit board which has a degree of rigidity. The circuit board is arranged with its main side facing the non-parallelly arranged, paired opposite sides of the housing. This prevents the generation of resonance between the housing and the circuit board caused by a stress of vibration introduced to the housing and the circuit board, thus hardly allowing the audio or video signals to deteriorate their recording and/or playback properties.

SOLUTION: In the output circuit, which has a serial circuit of first and second switching elements 2a and 2b, a serial circuit of third and fourth switching elements 2c and 2d and a load 6 connected between the connecting midpoint of these first and second switching elements 2a and 2b and the connecting midpoint of these third and fourth switching elements 2c and 2d and drives this load 6 by turning on and off these first, second, third and fourth switching elements 2a, 2b, 2c and 2d, current detecting means 21a, 21b, 21c, 21d and 22 are provided for detecting the respective currents of these first, second, third and fourth switching elements 2a, 2b, 2c and 2d; and when an abnormal current is detected by these current detecting means 21a, 21b, 21c, 21d and 22, all the first, second, third and fourth switching elements 2a, 2b, 2c and 2d are turned off.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restrict the deterioration of quality of reproduced data because of magnetization during the reproduction by setting a magnetic field application means for applying a magnetic field to an optical disk in a disk apparatus which can reproduce information recorded on the optical disk. SOLUTION: A coil 22 is set on the side of a record face of an optical disk 1, and arranged adjacently to be opposite to the optical disk 1 and separated from an optical pickup 3 via a rotation center of the optical disk 1. When a switch 24 is turned on, an a.c. is supplied to the coil 22, whereby an alternating field is generated from the coil 22. The alternating field penetrates the optical disk 1. Since the intense alternating field generated from the coil 22 penetrates the optical disk 1 at an area of the optical disk 1 where the coil 22 is set, a degree of magnetization greatly changes in a positive-negative direction, and the optical disk is magnetized to a magnetic saturation point or higher and an effect by a fringing field from the optical pickup 3 or the like can be eliminated.
