Abstract: PURPOSE:To eliminate trouble of channel selection by making it possible to switch automatically a receiving broadcast to an optimum broadcast when the receiving level is lowered in the receiving time of broadcast of a certain broadcast station. CONSTITUTION:Signals indicating receiving levels are obtained for every receiving frequency from detection circuit 21 according to change of receiving frequencies and are converted to digital signals Qd and are supplied to comparator circuit 35. Receiving level Qm before change and Qd are compared with each other, and Qd is written in memory 34 in case of Qd>Qm. When memory 34 becomes a write mode, value n of counter 29 at this time is written in memory 33, and value n for broadcast of the maximum receiving level is written in memory 33. Then, the output of timer circuit 23 is obtained at every fixed time, and another station is received in case that the level of this station is higher than the receiving level of the current receiving station by movement of a vehicle, etc.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To enable pickup arm to be freely manually elevated even when the automatic elevating mechanism is actuating by providing a changeover means which lets a manual elevating mechanism for manual elevating actuate in preference to the automatic elevating mechanism. CONSTITUTION:When an operating lever 61 is in the down position A, a lifter rod 43 has lowered and a pickup arm 7 is in the down position. When the operating lever 61 is oscillated to the up position B, a lifter lever 48 is turned upward against pulling sprint 54 by a lifter cam 57, by which the pickup arm 7 is ascended. An interlock system plunger 63 for automatic elevating of the pickup arm is provided in the lower part of the lifter cam 51 and a changeover means 66 which is so arranged as to disconnect the driving by the interlock system of the pickup arm 7 by de- energizing the interlock system plunger 63 is provided between the pulling plate 64 of the plunger 63 and an interlock lever 65.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To always secure the automatic and continuous reception only for the optimum broadcast by securing the automatic selection for the next channel in case the reception level is lowered for a certain channel under the reception. CONSTITUTION:The IF signal sent from IF amplifier 15 is detected 51 and then supplied to shaping circuit 52, and then the signal which becomes ''1'' and ''0'' when the broadcast reception level is higher and lower than the fixed level respectively is extracted to be supplied to fall trigger type monostable multivibrator 53. The output of vibrator 53 is sent to gate circuit 64, and the output of circuit 52 changes from ''1'' to ''0'' when the level of reception channel becomes lower than the fixed value. Then the output of logic circuit 63 is sent to the input port of interface circuit 34 through circuit 64. As a result, the next channel is selected automatically, thus ensuring the automatic and continuous reception at all times for only the optimum broadcast.
