    Abstract: A disc loading device for loading discs of different diameters on a disc rotating driving device provided within a outer casing is disclosed. The discs are the recording media on which information signals are pre-recorded or are to be recorded. The disc loading device includes a supporting base provided with the disc rotating driving device for rotationally driving the discs, and a disc transporting tray for holding and transporting the discs. The disc transporting tray is arranged above the supporting base and is movable between a position in which it is drawn into an outer casing containing the supporting base and a position in which it is drawn out of the outer casing.     Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an optical disk from being scratched due to contact by supporting the outer-periphery edge of the outer-periphery surface of a disk- shaped recording medium from both sides to support the recording medium from both sides and to support the recording medium nearly vertically. SOLUTION: When an optical disk D is housed at a disk storage part 15 of a rotary table 8, the optical disk D is held in a nearly vertically erected state at each disk storage part 15. Namely, by inserting the optical disk D into the disk storage part 15 and holding the optical disk D with an inner supporting part 20 of an inner support 16 and an outer support part 21 of an outer support body 17, both outer-periphery edges on the outer-periphery surface of the optical disk D are pressed against both inclined surfaces of V-shaped grooves 23 and 24 due to dead weight since the V-shaped groove 23 is formed on the bottom surface of the inner supporting part 20 and the V-shaped groove 24 is formed on the bottom surface of the outer supporting part 21. Then, the weight of the optical disk D is supported at a low part and at the same time the fall of the optical disk D can be prevented at a side part due to the function of both V-shaped grooves 23 and 24.

While the section 29 is moving the rack 13, the follower pin 15 enters into a cycloid section 34b of the groove 34 and when the section 30 faces against the section 13, the cam groove 34 moves the follower pin 15.

The results of the judgment are shown on a display section 11 through a display circuit 10. Thus, it can be learned that a voice signal is protected with the shockproof memory.
