Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a video image pickup device that can easily inspect detection of a defect in a short time and to obtain inspection device therefor and its inspection method. SOLUTION: An evaluation picture 2 is generated by quantizing reference picture data in a 2nd quantization step number less than a 1st quantization step number of a digital signal processed in a video photographing device 1 in a usual photographing. A quantizer in the video photographing device 1 quantizes a digital signal obtained by photographing the evaluation picture 2 through a solid-state image pickup element in a 3rd quantization step number less than the 1st quantization step number to generate evaluation picture measurement data. The data are compared with the reference picture data to inspect the video photographing device 1.

Abstract: PURPOSE: To provide a light shielding device for a camcorder where a view finder is not a hindrance when it is used by eliminating the difficulty of attachment in the case it is not used. CONSTITUTION: This light shielding device 18 is constituted of a coupling part C formed into nearly S-shape, a through-hole D and an attaching part A for attaching to an eye cup 4 with center at a lens light shielding part B formed of elastic rubber material which can be formed by molding or punching and submitted for the use of shielding the lens of the view finder part 2 from the light. Since the light shielding device is made of the elastic rubber material, the view finder is housed in an eye cup side surface through one action when it is used. When the view finder is not used, the light shielding device is set on the front surface of the lens by elongating/contracting operation, thereby protecting a color liquid crystal panel from sunlight.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To inexpensively prepare the handle of a suitcase or the like within a short time, by a method wherein a notch part is provided to a specific metal member and an elastomer is subjected to injection molding from the gate in the vicinity of the notch part in such a state that said member is tensioned by tensile force. CONSTITUTION:A notch part 3 is formed to a belt shaped metal member 1 having elasticity and this metal member 1 having the notch part 3 formed thereto is arranged in molds 6, 7 to be tensioned by tensile force. Thereafter, an elastomer is injected toward the side end surface of the metal member 1 from the gate 28 positioned in the vinicity of the notch part 3 to prepare a handle 33 having a coated layer 34. The side end surface of the member is held at a predetermined distance from the gate by the notch part 3, the deformation of the member 1 is not generated even if the injection pressure of the elastomer is high, and a handle with good appearance is obtained.
