Abstract:
There is provided a data recording method for recording data in one of at least two areas obtained by dividing the recording area of an optical recording medium (5), according to the type of data to be recorded. When the inputted data is a still image, the remaining amount of a still image recording area ARS is checked. If the remaining amount of the still image recording area ARS is small, it is judged whether the remaining amount of the video recording area ARV is greatetr than an extension size. If the remaining amount of the video recording area ARV is greater than the extension size, the boundary pointer is corrected and recording data management information and file system information are corrected, thereby extending the still image recording area ARS and recording the still image data in the still image recording area ARS. After the recording is complete, recording management information and file system information in the management area ARM are updated if necessary.
Abstract:
Provided is a recording medium initialization method for recording data according to the AVCHD standard. Under control of a route directory of a partition, ICB and FIDs concerning each directory contained in the directory structure defined by the AVCHD standard are recorded, considering information on a child directory. After this, SBD and a metadata bitmap file are recorded in the partition and LVIS is recorded according to information on the number of sectors consumed by recording ICB and FIDs of all the directories and the total number of recorded directories.
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To rapidly comprehend the contents of moving images. SOLUTION: A moving image input section 141 inputs digital video data. A position information input section 143 acquires positional information, when the digital video data are input. A position information processing section 171 uses a position information conversion database 160, to convert the acquired information into text data regarding a position. A management information processing section 172 generates moving image management information used to include the converted text data into a clip information file of the AVCHD standards and a movie play list file. A recording control section 176 causes a recording medium 180, to record the clip information file and the movie play list file which include the text data, as moving image management files, associated with a moving image file. Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display an image higher in quality while carrying on high-speed reproduction more stably. SOLUTION: A transfer rate monitor section 61 detects the write transfer rate R0 of moving picture data written in a buffer 33 and detects the readout transfer rate R1 of moving picture data read out of the buffer 33. A combination set storage section 64 stores information showing a combination of a skip interval Ns and the number Nh of successive frames. A selection section 63 selects one combinations out of combinations shown by stored information by following a designated procedure when the write transfer rate R0 and readout transfer rate R1 have designated relation. A high-speed reproduction control section 65 controls the high-speed reproduction based upon the skip interval Ns and the number Nh of successive frames of the selected combination. This invention is applicable to a player which reproduces image data of MPEG2. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow recording of video data with management structure of a clip having compatibility with the BD-ROM standard. SOLUTION: Recording of a stream in which video and audio data are time division multiplexed by the unit of packet is started on to a recording medium in response to a recording start operation. The stream accumulated in a buffer, as a stream file, is written in the recording medium in response to a recording stop operation, and a clip information file corresponding to the stream file is created. A play item indicating the entire clip information file is created, and added to an existent playlist on the recording medium, and a mark is marked for the playlist at the time corresponding to an IN-point of the play item. The play item created next accompanying the recording start and stop is further added to the existent playlist similarly, and a mark is further marked at the time point corresponding to the IN-point.
