Abstract: A cassette eject mechanism for a recording or reproducing apparatus can remove a cassette eject button from a housing and can reliably eject a tape cassette only when a tape cassette should be loaded or unloaded. A battery loading mechanism for an electronic equipment can make the loading of battery simple and reliable, and becomes easy to handle. The locking mechanism can be simplified in structure so that the number of assembly parts can considerably be reduced. Further, a mechanical chassis supporting mechanism in a recording apparatus is for use with an apparatus in which a mechanical chassis or cabinet can be reduced in thickness. According to this mechanical chassis supporting mechanism, it is possible to prevent an external stress from being applied to the mechanical chassis as a twisting deform force.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a cradle capable of extending and adding various photographing functions to a small-sized imaging apparatus.
SOLUTION: The cradle 30 is fixedly fitted to a digital still camera 20 while putting a camera stopper 31 over the digital still camera 20 placed on the cradle 30, and also, the photographing function is extended by using an opening formed in the prescribed part of the camera stopper 31, and also, by fixing the cradle to a tripod through a screw hole formed in the bottom face, long photographing can be attained in a stable attitude.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To make a lid body functionable as one part of a grip part with-out any problem at all by constituting the device in such a way that the lid body is pulled to the side of a cassette holder by energizing force of an elastic mem ber when this cassette holder for holding a tape cassette is housed in a pre scribed prescribed position in the device main body. CONSTITUTION:The device is provided with the elastic member 9 for energizing the lid body 8 to the side of the cassette holder and bringing a peripheral part of the lid body 8 into contact with a peripheral part of a cassette inserting hole 4 without making any gap between them when the cassette holder 6 is housed in a tape cassette loading position in the device main body. Consequently, when the cassette holder 6 for holding the tape cassette 5 is housed into the tape cassette loading postion in the device main body, the lid body 8 is pulled to the side of the cassete holder by the energizing force of the elastic member 9, so that the peripheral part of the cassette inserting hole 4 formed on the device main body and the peripheral part of the lid body 8 are brought into contact with each other with no gaps, thus preventing backlash of both parts. By this method, the lid body 8 may function as one part of the grip part.
