Abstract:
A synthetic resin card and a method of producing the card, where a warp of the card can be restrained. The difference (Delta) between orientation angles of outer layers symmetrically layered with respect to a card core portion is made not more than 20º. This can reduce stress imbalance caused by different shrinking ratios of the outer layers, enabling a card warp to be reduced. Further, the thickness of an outer layer is set to 25 mum to 125 mum, and this can reduce rise of the synthetic resin card surface. Running ability of the card when it is run in a device can be improved by the reduced card warp and rise of the card surface.
Abstract:
In a plastic card (10) for an embossing finish comprising a core material (12) and a sheath material (13), a breaking elongation of the core material (12) is 25 % or less and a breaking elongation of the sheath material (13) is 130 % or more. The ratio of the thickness of the core material to the thickness of the sheath material (13) occupied in the entire part of the plastic card is set to 20 to 53 : 10. Otherwise, a breaking elongation of the core material (12) is 50 % or less and the tensile strength of the sheath material (13) is 100 MPa or more. The ratio of the thickness of the sheath material (13) to the thickness of the core material (12) occupied in the entire part of the card is set to 41 to 90 : 10. The breaking elongation of the core material (12) and the sheath material (13) or the tensile strength of the sheath material (13), and the ratio of thickness of the core material (12) to the sheath material (13) are adjusted so that the plastic card excellent in embossing characteristics and hardly generating cracks due to a repetitive bending fatigue is provided.

The base film includes the other surface having a surface roughness of center line average roughness Ra of 4.5 to 20 nm, a ten-point average roughness Rz of 35 to 350 nm and a maximum height Rmax of 40 to 400 nm.
Abstract:
A synthetic resin card in which card warpage can be reduced and a method for producing the same are provided. By setting the difference ” in the angle of orientation between outer layers symmetrically laminated on a card core section, it is possible to reduce imbalance of stress resulting from the difference in the shrinkage factor between the outer layers, and card warpage can be suppressed. Furthermore, by setting the thickness of the outer layers at 25 µm to 125 µm, rising of the surface of the synthetic resin card can be reduced. By reducing the card warpage and the rising of the surface of the synthetic resin card, it is possible to improve moving characteristics when the synthetic resin card is allowed to move in a device.
Abstract:
To provide an IC card, which secures satisfied flatness of the card surface to achieve good printing properties on the card surface. An IC card has a core layer which includes a plurality of sheet materials wherein inner core sheets adjacent to an IC module have through holes formed in a region corresponding to the IC mounted portion, wherein a relationship A=(B 1 +C 1 )±30 mum is satisfied, where A (mum) represents the sum of heights of the through holes, B 1 represents a projection height on an IC mounted surface of the IC module, and C 1 represents a projection height on an IC non-mounted surface. By virtue of having this structure, the IC card can secure card flatness sufficient to obtain satisfied printing properties with respect to the rewrite sheet.
