Abstract:
A television apparatus is provided to transmit an audio signal output from the first speaker and an audio signal output from the second speaker with the same timing, thereby allowing a user to feel convenient. A television apparatus includes a thin film display device, a mounting part, a support mechanism, the first speaker(50), the second speaker(52), a signal supplying part, and a signal processor. The mounting part is disposed in a predetermined place. The support mechanism protrudes from the mounting part upward and supports the thin film display device in the upper portion spaced apart from the mounting part such that the attitude of the thin film display device is changed. The first speaker(50) is mounted on the display device. The second speaker(52) is mounted on the mounting part. The signal supplying part supplies the first audio signal to the first speaker, and supplies the second audio signal to the second speaker. The signal processor adjusts time interval between timing of the first audio signal output from the signal supplying part and timing of the second audio signal output from the signal supplier.

PURPOSE:To lock the center frequency of an oscillator at a horizontal scanning frequency and to eliminate a need for adjustment work by detecting a synchronizing signal included in an input signal, and blocking the output of an AFC circuit that controls an AFC loop at the time of missing of the synchronizing signal. CONSTITUTION:The AFCID circuit 9, normally, checks how many pieces of the risings of oscillator signal from a VCO a present during a time from the rising to the down ing of a normal horizontal synchronizing signal SH, and controls the oscillation frequency of the VCO 4 so that the AFC 7 always operates within a lock range. If the lacking of a synchronizing signal is detected, the circuit 9 is initialized by a reset signal from a synchronizing signal lack detection circuit 15, and at the same time blocked of its output, and the loop 7 comes in a free run status and maintains its status in synchronism with signals SH. For an information, if a synchronizing signal lack detection means 11 and a switch 10 were not present, and a lack occurred, the loop 7 would operate cyclically with a period at the timing of the lack, hence would cause a malfunction, however, in this invention, the loop 7 is made come into a free run status in a normal status that preceeds the occurrence of the lacking. Therefore, the loop 7 operates at all time at a cycle of 1/fH.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow the reduction in thickness of a screen and to match a localized position of a sound image with a position of the screen without degrading sound quality. SOLUTION: A display device includes: a display panel 110 that displays video; a panel speaker 120 that has a surface sound source and is disposed in one of an upper section and a lower section of the display panel 110 on a rear surface of the display panel 110 and outputs stereo audio of a high frequency range; a main speaker 130 that has a surface sound source or a spot sound source and is disposed in the other of the upper section and the lower section of the display panel 110 on the rear surface of the display panel 110 and outputs stereo audio of a frequency range lower than that of a panel speaker 120; and delay processing portions 151 and 152 that delay output of the main speaker 130 more than output of the panel speaker 120. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a television set that is advantageous in improving the design or the appearance of the television set. SOLUTION: A television set 10 comprises a display device 12 and two speakers 40. Each of the speakers 40 includes a diaphragm 42 and an exciter 44, connected to the diaphragm 42, and the speakers 40 are disposed at right and left sides of a display panel 1202 at positions spaced backward from the display panel 1202, so that when the display panel 1202 is viewed from the front of the display panel 1202, a portion, closer to one terminal of the diaphragm 42 where the exciter 44 is provided, is positioned within the contour of the display panel 1202, and the other terminal between both the terminals of the diaphragm 42 in the direction of width is disposed so as to protrude to the outside of the contour of the display panel 1202. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a television apparatus wherein a display apparatus can be downsized and low-profiled, a degree of design freedom can be ensured, and improvement of fine view is advantageous. SOLUTION: The television apparatus 10 includes: the display apparatus 12; a speaker 50; a stand 20 for supporting the display apparatus 12; a posture revision mechanism for supporting the display apparatus 12 in a way of revising the posture of the display apparatus 12; and a grip 52 for revising the posture of the display apparatus 12. The speaker 50 is provided to the grip 52 for revising the posture of the display apparatus 12. The grip 52 is moved together with the display apparatus 12 when the grip 52 is used to revise the posture of the display apparatus 12 in a way that a relative position of the grip 52 is unchanged with respect to the display apparatus 12. PURPOSE: To improve language learning effect by providing a means storing a character signal and an audio signal respectively up to a prescribed past time in the processing unit to reproduce the signals repetitively at any time. CONSTITUTION: A character memory 3B stores a character signal extracted from a video signal S1 at a slicer 3C as plural sets of character information while going back to the past by a prescribed time. An audio memory 5A stores an audio signal S5 while going back to the past by a prescribed time. When a repeat signal S3 is set, the reproduction device is set to a still image mode and a still image is displayed via a frame memory 3A. Then the audio memory 5A provides an output of the stored audio signal by a prescribed time repetitively to a terminal Aout via a changeover circuit 5B. In this case, when a character display selection signal S2 is set, the character memory 3B displays the final stored character information while overlapping on a signal of a screen. When a scroll signal S4 is set, the information going back to older character information is displayed on each occasion.

PURPOSE:To simplify algorithm by determining a recording current out of recording currents in a step for setting a reproducing signal level more than a threshold level in the ascending order and a step for setting it more than a similar threshold level even in the descending order in the case of optimizing the recording current. CONSTITUTION:Heads 52A, 52B are arranged on a drum 51 and a tape 53 is wound around the drum 51. A head switching signal RFSW, a recording pause signal RECP and a recording signal REC are supplied from a microcomputer 54 to a recording amplifier 56 to switch between the heads 52A, 52B and recording is halted when the signal RECP is high or recording can be executed when the signal RECP is low. On the other hand, recording operation is executed when the signal REC is high and reproducing operation is executed in the low signal REC. In the case of logarithmically changing the recording current of a video signal in this constitution, the envelope of a reproducing RF signal is changed almost like a quadratic curve and the recording current expressed by the vertex of the curve is set as an optimum recording current.
