Abstract:
[Object] To improve user convenience in terms of input operability in a device that allows input operations via the human body or a stylus-like input device. [Solution] Provided is an information processing device, including: an operation input unit that allows input operations by two types of operating bodies, including an input operation performed via proximity or contact of a part of a human body, and an input operation performed via proximity or contact of a stylus-like input device; and an input control unit that controls switching between the input operation performed via proximity or contact of the part of the human body and the input operation performed via proximity or contact of the stylus-like input device, based on a separation distance between the part of the human body and/or the stylus-like input device and an operation input surface of the operation input unit, and also based on an angle between a central axis of the stylus-like input device and the operation input surface.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processing apparatus and program which make it possible to reproduce video or sound expressed by a signal transmitted from an external apparatus without depending on an executing state of an operating system to improve user convenience. SOLUTION: An information processing apparatus is provided that includes a control unit to execute an operating system and selectively output a first video signal or both the first video signal and a first audio signal, an external input unit to which an external content signal containing a second video signal and a second audio signal transmitted from an external apparatus is input, and a reproduction state switch control unit to selectively switch a first reproduction state for reproducing the first video signal or both the first video signal and the first audio signal, and a second reproduction state for reproducing the second video signal and the second audio signal, wherein, if input of the external content signal to the external input unit is detected during a reproduction standby state, the reproduction state switch control unit switches the reproduction standby state to the second reproduction state. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate authentication of a plurality of fingers, or objects to be authenticated, while miniaturizing the apparatus. SOLUTION: This biometric apparatus is provided with an opening/closing lid 9 for opening/closing a disposition recess part 6a formed in a housing 6, a capturing camera 10 capturing the image of the vein pattern of the fingers and disposed in the disposition recess part in a state being movable interlocked with the opening/closing operation of the opening/closing lid, a light source 11 disposed inside the housing and illuminating infrared light to the fingers, and a finger placing stand part 6b provided one end part of the housing for placing the fingers in such a manner as facing the capturing camera. When the disposition recess part is opened by the opening/closing operation of the opening/closing lid with the fingers placed on the finger placing stand, the optical axis S of the capturing camera moving interlocked with the opening/closing operation of the opening/closing lid faces the belly faces of the fingers. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily authenticate a plurality of fingers which are bodies to be authenticated while miniaturizing a biometrics apparatus. SOLUTION: The biometrics apparatus is provided with: an open/close cover 9 formed by a material capable of transmitting near-infrared light and rotatably supported by a housing 6 to open/close an arrangement recessed part 6a formed in the housing 6; a photographing camera 10 for photographing a vein pattern of a finger 100 through the open/close cover 9 arranged on the arrangement recessed part 6a; and a light source 11 arranged in the arrangement recessed part 6a to irradiate the finger 100 arranged on the arrangement recessed part 6a with near-infrared light. The surface of the open/close cover 9 is formed as a finger mounting surface 9a on which a finger is to be mounted in the state where the longitudinal direction of the finger aligns a direction orthogonal to the rotation axis of the open/close cover 9, and when the inside surface 101 of the finger is touched with the finger mounting surface 9a, the finger is mounted, the open/close cover 9 is rotated and the arrangement recessed part is opened, biometrics is performed. SOLUTION: An information processing system 10 comprises an electronic pen 100 and a receiver 200. The receiver includes: a position detection part which detects a position of a pen tip of the electronic pen 100 to acquire position information indicating the position of the pen tip of the electronic pen; a modification ID storage part wherein a modification ID identifying a modification for the position indicated by the position information is stored; a modification ID updating part which updates the modification ID; a storage part; and a registration processing part which registers the modification ID stored in the modification ID storage part and the position information acquired by the position detection part as correspondence information in association with each other.
