PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a user to correct image quality with a simple method in camera photographing corresponding to a viewing environment, information of an external image display device, temporal change, and user's preference. SOLUTION: The image signal processor is provided with a communication means 41 which makes a communication in between the external image display device 42; and a microcomputer 27 which acquires an adjusting image pattern used for adjusting the image quality so as to correspond to image display performance of the external image display device 42, enables image quality adjustment by correction of a parameter for image signal processing with a camera signal processor 9 on the basis of the adjusting image pattern, and allows the external image display device 42 to display the adjusting image pattern as two states before the correction and after the correction. The image quality correction conforming to display characteristics of the external image display device 42 is executed by correcting the parameter for the image signal processing with the camera signal processor 9 so as to correspond to the displayed adjusting image pattern after the correction. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image-pickup unit of a video camera, etc., which can suppress changes of a still image in both monitoring and recording modes and which can also improve the image picture quality. SOLUTION: A CCD image sensor 14 once reads out an entire area of a still image by every two fields by a 2-line mixed reading method in a still image monitor mode. In a still image recording mode, the sensor 14 reads out all pixels at different times, with odd and even lines separated from each other. In the still image recording mode, an image pickup signal is amplified about twice as large as that of the still image monitor mode by a GCA(gain-control amplifier) 16 and sent to an A/D converter 17. Thus, quantization error of A/D conversion can be reduced.
Abstract:
PURPOSE:To scroll an entire screen in a horizontal direction during reproduction. CONSTITUTION:In order to output the video signal of an NTSC system, the CCD image pickup device 2 of a PAL system is used for instance, remaining lines are transferred at a high speed by a CCD driving circuit 3 and thus, the video signal is magnified in a vertical direction at the time of recording. The video signal magnified in the vertical direction is magnified in the horizontal direction by a line memory 15 at the time of the reproduction. By shifting the reading position of the video signal magnified in the horizontal direction by the operation of a switch 17, horizontal scrolling is enabled.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate file selection at reproduction with simple processing by displaying and outputting a file list wherein priority is placed to each image sound viewing apparatus of even a different connection opposite party. SOLUTION: An image sound recording and reproducing apparatus uses a communication means 52 to communicate with the external image sound viewing apparatus in order to display image information subjected to image signal processing and sound information subjected to sound signal processing onto the external image sound viewing apparatus 36. A microcomputer 25 acquires individual identification information of the image sound viewing apparatus, stores a reproduction history of image information and sound information files by each individual identification information, when the image sound recording and reproducing apparatus uses the communication means 52 to connect again to the image sound viewing apparatus and a user views by using it, priority is placed on the files in the reproduction history on the basis of the information associated with the reproduction obtained from the reproduction history and the image sound viewing apparatus displayably outputs a list of the files onto which the priority is placed. PURPOSE: To sufficiently correct camera shake and to suppress the deterioration of image quality in picked up image. CONSTITUTION: A picture element matrix 1 where plural picture element arrays in which plural picture elements holding image pickup signals obtained by image pickup of a subject image in readable manner are arranged in a vertical direction, are arranged in a horizonatal direction, vertical registers 2 which are provided for the respective picture element arrays, which transfer the image pickup signals held by the respective picture elements forming the respective picture element arrays for respective vertical synchronising signals and which hold the image pickup signals so that they can be transferred, a horizontal regsiter 3 transferring the image pickup signals transferred from the respective picture element arrays to the respective vertical registers by shifting them in the vertical direction by the image pickup signals of one picture element and transmitting the image pickup signals which are shifted and transferred in synchronizing with horizontal synchronizing signals and a transfer clock generation means which can variably set the number of the transfer times of one horizontal scanning period generating a transfer clock signal for transferring the image pickup signals transferred to the vertical regsiters 2 to the horizonatal register 3 at every one horizontal synchronizing signal are provided.

PURPOSE:To reduce the cut-of-focus of the image forming signal from a CCD image forming device due to shaking in a video camera provided with a shaking correction function. CONSTITUTION:The rocking of a camera is detected by anglar velocity sensors 10 and 11. In accordance with the anglar velocity detected by the anglar velocity sensors 10 and 11, the contour emphasizing characteristic of a contour emphasizing circuit 8 is controlled. When the shaking of the camera is fast, the contour emphasis which is stronger than when the swinging is slow is taken. Thus, even if an out-of-focus occurs in the imaging signal from a CCD imaging device due to the shaking, it becomes unconspicuous on a reproduced screen.

PURPOSE:To store a satisfactory video signal free from picture distortion, residue of an unnecessary signal, or the like by supplying a separated horizontal synchronizing signal to an interpolating circuit and performing switching between the interpolated horizontal synchronizing signal and said separated horizontal synchronizing signal to supply them to a memory control circuit. CONSTITUTION:The signal from an input terminal 1 is supplied to a synchronizing separating circuit 4 to separate the horizontal synchronizing signal, and the signal from this circuit 4 is supplied to an AFC circuit 5 to perform the signal processing for servo or the like. In this AFC circuit 5, the horizontal synchronizing signal is interpolated by self-oscillation or the like with respect to a drop-out part of the video signal. Further, the signal from the terminal 1 is supplied to an envelope detecting circuit 2, and a detection signal which goes to '1' for the presence of a signal from the circuit 7 is supplied to a switch 6 to switch the switch 6 to the side of the separating circuit 4. Then, the video signal is stored in a memory 3 based on the horizontal synchronizing signal and its interpolated signal. Thus, the satisfactory video signal free from picture distortion, residue of an unnecessary signal, or the like is stored.

PURPOSE:To eliminate time lag of voice reproduction to video reproduction by controlling a bimorph to make a rotary head can continuously video signal track part of a slanted track on the tape and sound signal track part of a slanted track of upstream side at a specified distance from the former. CONSTITUTION:In a video and sound signals reproducing device that reproduces a tape TP on which video signals and PCM sound signals are recorded to form slanted track T consisting of a video signal track part (v) and a sound signal track part (a) and a guard band (g) between them using a rotary head H, the rotary head is attached to a bimorph 21 and made movable in the direction nearly at right angles to longitudinal direction of the slanted track T. The bimorph 21 is controlled by a control circuit 22 to make the rotary head H scan continuously the video signal track part (v) of a slanted track on the tape TP and the sound signal track part (a) of slanted track in the up-stream side at a specified distance from the video signal track part. Thus, even if PCM sound signals are signal processed, delay of sound reproduction from video reproduction does not occur.
