The polyhedrons 8a to 8c are coupled by way of the optical members 9a and 9b so as to compose an optical block as a monochromator prism block.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To recognize an object clearly even in the counter light state. A CONSTITUTION:A video signal SA generated by a video signal process circuit 15 is fed to a video signal correction circuit 16. Furthermore, a horizontal synchronizing signal SH and a vertical synchronizing signal SV are fed respectively to pulse width variable multivibrators 17A, 17B, in which horizontal and vertical blanking signals SB1, SB2 are generated to hold a specific range of the video signal and to set other signals to be a black level and they are synthesized by a blanking signal generating circuit 18 to obtain a blanking signal SB and it is fed to a video signal correction circuit 16, where a corrected video signal SC keeping a specific range of a video signal SA and blanking other signals is generated and fed to a TV monitor 19. Since, for example, an upper half of a portrait is displayed on the TV monitor 19 and other parts are displayed black, an object is clearly recognized even in the case of counter light.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To prevent the production of beat failure, by alternately inverting the polarity of varactor diodes consisting of a phase shifter. CONSTITUTION:The polarity of varactor diodes 11a-11j is alternately inverted, and each cold end is sequentially through large capacity capacitors 23a-23i. Further, the anode of diodes 11a-11c of the same polarity every other location is sequentially connected through resistors 24a-24g, an arbitrary point among the connecting points is connected to a bias terminal 22x via a resistor 21x, and an arbitrary point or more are grounded through a capacitor 12x. The constitution is made the same the diodes 11b-11j with opposite polarity. By fixing the voltage at a terminal 20 and feeding a control voltage to terminals 22x, 22y, desired extent of phase shift can be obtained.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To improve the TV picture quality lowered by piling of the unnecessary signals such as the ghost signals or the like, by projecting the pictures of the first and second cathode-ray tubes piled on each other onto the screen provided to oppose to the surfaces of the two cathode-ray tubes. CONSTITUTION:TV composite video signal 1 is supplied to first cathode-ray tube 54 via luminance signal amplifier 51, color signal circuit 52 and matrix circuit 53, and then undergoes waveform shaping 104 in accordance with the time difference between the main signal and the ghost signal to be then supplied to second cathode- ray tube 113 via lumnance signal amplifier 105, color signal circuit 106 and matrix circuit 107 respetively. Then lens 114 and 115 are distributed opposing to the surfaces of cathode-ray tube 54 and 113, and furthermore screen 116 is provided opposing to these lenses. The picture images are then projected on screen 116 in piling from tube 54 and 113 via lense 114 and 115. Thus, the both pictures are piled on each other on screen 116, and the deterioration of the picture quality caused by the unnecessary signals piled on the TV signal can be improved virtually.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical device and a display device provided therewith enabling a user to view a bright picture without worrying about irregular color by making the irregular color of a screen uniform without lowering the luminance of screen. SOLUTION: This device is provided with optical modulation members 45, 49 and 53 through which light from a light source is made to pass so as to be optically modulated, color correction members 120, 130 and 140 correcting the color of the light from the light source or the light optically modulated by the members 45, 49 and 53, and plural optical thin films 2a to 2d having light transmission characteristic and light reflection characteristic. In such a case, the device is equipped with a light synthesizing member 41 where the light transmission characteristic and the light reflection characteristic of the thin films 2a to 2d are respectively different in order to prevent the irregular color in the case of synthesizing the light passing through the members 120, 130 and 140 and the members 45, 49 and 53.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To prevent the occurrence of a fault due to higher harmonic distortion, by inverting the polarity of a varactor diode at every stage by turns. CONSTITUTION:Diodes 11a-11n are inverted in polarity by turns and respective cold end sides are grounded individually via capacitors 12a-12n. Connection points between anodes of alternate diodes 11a, 11c-11n-1 and capacitors 12a, 12c-12n-1 are connected together via resistors 21a, 21 -21n-1 and the connection point is connected to bias terminal 223. Further, connection points between cathodes of diodes 11b-11n and capacitors 12b-12n are connected together via resistors 21b-21n, and this connection point is connected to bias terminal 22b. The voltage of terminal 20 is fixed and two control voltages varying reciprocally centering on the fixed voltage are supplied to terminals 22a and 22b to control the capacity value, so that desired phase-shifting extent can be obtained.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To make an image pickup device small-sized and lightweight. CONSTITUTION:The pulse signal outputted from a timing signal generating circuit 14 is supplied to voltage generating circuits 30 and 40 through a signal amplifying circuit 24 to generate a-driving voltage having a prescribed value, and this driving voltage is used as the bias voltage to an image pickup element 12. A bias voltage VGD obtained by boosting an external power is generated by the first voltage generating circuit 30, and a bias voltage VS obtained by stepping down the voltage of the external power is generated by the second voltage generating circuit 40. Since the prescribed voltage is generated without using a DC-DC converter or the like, the image pickup element is made small- sized and light-weight.
