Date Dec. 24, 1997A high thermal expansion member consisting of such as an Fe-Ni-Cr based alloy, a low thermal expansion member consisting of such as an Fe-Ni based alloy, and an intermediary member, which comprises one kind of metal selected from Fe, Al and Cu or an alloy comprising these metals, possesses a thermal expansion coefficient alpha 3 which is located between those of the high thermal expansion member (thermal expansion coefficient alpha 1) and the low thermal expansion member (thermal expansion coefficient alpha 2) ( alpha 1> alpha 3> alpha 2), and is interposed therebetween, are laminated to form a thermal deformation member for an electron tube or a thermal deformation member for electric control. The intermediary member, without adversely affecting strength or long term reliability of the thermal deformation member, contributes to manufacturing cost reduction and improvement of workability. In a color picture tube, the above described thermal deformation member for an electron tube is employed in a thermal deformation portion of a frame holder which one edge is solidly stuck to a panel and the other edge thereof is solidly stuck to a mask frame of a shadow mask. In an overcurrent protection, the above described thermal deformation member for electric current control is employed in a thermal deformation portion which opens a contact point.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To facilitate the edition by reducing one of a master side picture reproduced from a master tape and an edited picture reproduced from the edited tape so as to form a sub picture and fitting it into other main picture and displaying the result. CONSTITUTION:One of the master picture and the edited picture is reduced by a sub picture processing circuit 55 to form a sub picture and inserted to other main picture and the result is displayed. The edition start point is sought while observing the main picture on a monitor 13, a pause button 18a is depressed to stop the player 38 tentatively. When the picture switching button 35a or 36a is depressed in this state, since a changeover means 38 replaces the main and sub pictures, the main picture is switched as necessary to confirm it and to be corrected by a jog dial 37a. Then the edition button 29a is depressed to operate the player 38 and the recorder 39 to transfer the master tape 11 onto the edition tape 12. Through the constitution above, both the pictures are observed easily to apply the edition.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simultaneously reproduce the image pickup result of a video camera for recording and a video and audio from a video tape recording and reproducing device for back-up by allowing a control means to selectively drive first - fourth switches according to a designated mode for impressing video signals and sound signals to first and second display means and first and second sound reproducing means. SOLUTION: A signal processor 19 of a video camera 10 for recording controls first, second, and third switches SW1, SW2, and SW3 according to the arithmetic control processing. Thus, a video image picked-up by a camera part 16 can be displayed through a first terminal T1 of the first switch SW1 on a view finder 12, or displayed through a first terminal T1 of the second switch SW2 on a liquid crystal display panel 14. Also, the image picked-up video can be recorded through a first terminal T1 of the fourth switch SW4 by a magnetic tape recording and reproducing part 18. The signal processor 19 can control the operation of each constituting part.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To prevent the difference of a video signal being a noise component from turning around and being included in an output video signal for a long period, and to improve an S/N by lowering the level of the difference for each prescribed interval by a filter at the time of a subtraction processing. CONSTITUTION:A subtracter 13 detects the difference between a chroma signal before one frame and the chroma signal of the current frame, and a filter 15 multiplies a coefficient to this difference. Then, a subtracter 12 subtracts the output of the filter 15 from the input chroma signal. Therefore, the noise component is subtracted from the input chroma signal and a chroma signal C to be supplied to an output terminal 17 becomes the noise-reduced signal. The degree of subtracting the difference for the chroma signal by a subtracter 12 is weakened once several frames. Therefore, it is blocked at such a point of time when the coefficient is reduced, that the influence of the subtraction processing ir propagated to the chroma signals of the following frames, and the after-image of the preceding frame is not remained for a long period. Then, the picture with the satisfactory S/N can be obtained while reducing the noise.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve color purity and reliabilty of a color picture tube and to reduce manufacturing cost by using a thermal deformation member for an electron tube which can reduce manufacturing cost and improve processability without impairing strength and long-term reliability.
SOLUTION: A thermal deformation section 15b of a frame holder 15 is fixed at its one end to a panel 11 of a color picture tube and at its the other end to a mask frame 14 of a shadow mask 13. The thermal deformation section 15b is composed of a thermal deformation member for an electron tube comprising an intermediate member whose coefficient of thermal expansion is α3(α1>α3>α2) intervened between a high thermal expansion member composed of Fe-Ni-Cr alloy whose coefficient of thermal expansion is α1 and a low thermal expansion member composed of Fe-Ni alloy whose coefficient of thermal expansion is α2. In the thermal deformation member for the electron tube, a board thickness ratio between the high thermal expansion member and the low thermal expansion member is 55:45-45:55, and a board thickness o the intermediate member is within 80% of a total board thickness of the thermal deformation member.
