    Abstract: PURPOSE:To promote working efficiency of a motor even in the case of reduced number of motors by using one motor in common for a loading mechanism for loading and unloading a disk and a servomechanism for displacing an optical pickup in the thicknesswise direction of the disk. CONSTITUTION:The optical disk reproducing device 1 is provided with the following prescribed constitutive elements. These are the loading mechanism 34 for drawing an optical disk into a housing 2 or taking the drawn disk out of the housing 2, a guide mechanism 69 having a guide part 94 for guiding the optical pickup 66 in its movement in a radial direction of the disk and capable of making the pickup freely turnable in the thicknesswise direction of the disk and one motor 10 for turning both the loading mechanism 34 and the guiding mechanism 69. In addition, the device is also provided with a catching mechanism 47 for detaching the disk drawn into the housing 2 and mounted on a spindle 22 as it is, and the same motor 10 for driving the loading mechanism 34 and the catching mechanism 47 and turning the guide mechanism.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To reduce the operating time at search operation at the leading by starting to read an address code data before a spindle servo is locked so as to apply moving control to a prescribed part. CONSTITUTION:A video signal reproducing circuit 2 separates a reproducing synchronizing signal SY and a frame number code FNC from a pickup signal PU, a frame number decoder 4 sends a frame number data FND, a controller 5 turns on a switch circuit 3 to send a video signal VID. The controller 5 gives control signals CON1, CON2 to a slide servo device 7 and a spindle servo device 6 based on a rotation speed signal FG of a spindle motor from the device 6 and position information PG of an optical head 1 from the device 7 and the signal FND. The tie siding the optical head 1 is generally shorter than the time required to lock the spindle servo, and the spindle servo is not locked frequently when the frame number data FND is started to read.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To simplify various adjustments such as pickup position adjustment, hue adjustment, color purity adjustment, resolution adjustment, and white balance adjustment by forming concentric-circle recording tracks on which prescribed information is recorded on the part where information can be reproduced with a pickup and reproducing information for adjustments by the pickup. CONSTITUTION:A circular chucking aperture 2 is provided in the center of an adjusting disc part 1. Circular recording tracks 3 having the same center as the aperture 2 (including spiral tracks) are formed, and information which adjusts the pickup position, the hue, the resolution, the white balance, etc., is recorded on recording tracks 3. These recording tracks 3 have such size that they can be reproduced by the pickup. A motor 12 is rotated before information on recording tracks 3 is reproduced, and a pickup 23 is moved to reproduce information, and information on this adjusting disc part 1 is seen on the screen of a monitor. Thus, the position of the pickup 23, the hue, etc., are adjusted.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To enable one reproducing head to record and reproduce both sides of a disk by making the one reproducing head capable of moving to both sides of the disk respectively and making the reproducing head reverse in its direction during the above movement. CONSTITUTION:When a head part 52 is situated in a back side transfer position, an optical pickup 66 is in an upward posture. When the head part 52 is moved from this state to a front side transfer position, a reversing gear 109 is moved upward as it rotates counterclockwise, and the pickup 66 is postured downward. Almost simultaneously with this, the head part 52 arrives in the front side transfer position. Then, when the head part 52 is moved from this state toward the front side transfer position, the gear 109 is moved downward as it rotates clockwise, and the pickup 66 is postured upward. Almost simultaneously with this, the head part 52 arrives in the back side transfer position.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To simplify the structure of a slide tray by surely keeping an opening part closed when the slide tray is kept between its draw-in position and its desired position. CONSTITUTION:A cover body 18 having a size to be set into an opening part 4 is supported movably to the tip part of a slide tray 11, and a bias means 23 energizes springily the cover body 18 toward a desired position against the slide tray 11. At the same time, a stopper part is added to the opening part 4 of a housing 2 in order to prevent the movement of the cover body 18 to its desired position. Therefore the cover body 18 moves in one body with the tray 11 while the tray 11 is moving between a draw-in position and a projected position. Then the body 18 is set into the part 4 of the housing 2 when the tray 11 is moved to the draw-in position from the projected position. Thus the body 18 covers the part 4. Then the body 18 moves relatively to the tray 11 when the tray 11 moves to its desired position and is kept at a set position to the part 4. As a result, the part 4 can be kept closed as long as the tray 11 is kept in the housing 2 with no double structure required.
