Abstract: A flat type DC motor applicable for disc drive of an electronic still camera in which vibrations of the rotor axle are prevented without increasing manufacturing costs by providing the magnetic field between the stator and rotor to be asymmetrical so that the magnetic attracting force of the rotor to the stator is also asymmetrical. The asymmetrical attracting force causes the axle of the rotor to be urged in the same radial direction relative to the axle bearing in the stator, thus, movements of the axle in radial directions in the clearance between the axle and bearing of the stator are eliminated and the rotor rotates without vibrating.

Abstract: A disc spindle motor of the axial air-gap type includes a record disc chucking portion having a center boss with a disc support surface formed around the center boss. A magnet is arranged adjacent and beneath the disc support surface to hold a magnetic central core of the record disc against the support surface. The rotor of the spindle motor has a rotor magnet affixed to a rotor yoke and facing the stator coils. The center boss and disc support of the disc chucking portion and the rotor yoke of the rotor are all integrally formed in one piece by molding a resin, such as nylon-6, with a magnetic powder, such as iron powder.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To prevent shaft blurring caused by the rattle of shaft in the radial direction, by imbalancedly setting the magnet field between a stator and a rotor so that the shaft of rotor will be pressed to one direction in the radial direction of bearing of the stator. CONSTITUTION:In a brushless motor 1, a stepped section 10a to a part of a stator yoke 10 of a stator 3 is formed in projecting on the side of sheet coil 14. In rotating a rotor 2, imbalance is caused to magnetic attractive force of a rotor magnet 8 against the stator yoke 10, and the rotor magnet 8 will always be pulled to rotate to the stepped section 10a of the stator yoke 10, so that the whole of a shaft 5 for rotor 2 is pressed to one direction in the radial direction of a bearing 11 of the stator 3 and rotates under the so-called laterally pressed condition.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To elevate an output level, and to obtain a generating signal at stable frequency by properly connecting generating wire elements annularly arranged at regular intervals in response to multipolar magnets. CONSTITUTION:When a driving coil for a motor is supplied with fixed currents, a rotor is turned, and magnetic flux by a four-pole magnet crosses generating wire elements 11a1-11a24. When the four-pole magnet is rotated at 4X2pi/28 (rad) so that a specific point on the four-pole magnet crosses four generating wire elements, a generating signal at one period is acquired. A signal obtained by adding generating signals severally induced in the generating wire elements 11a1-11a24 for a generating coil 12a and the generating wire elements 11a1-11a23 for a second generating coil 12b is acquired as a generating signal.
