Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent overspill of an ejected liquid, received by a platen plate, from the platen plate by providing an ejected-liquid storage means for housing and storing the liquid which is ejected from a liquid ejection head and received by the platen plate.
SOLUTION: A liquid ejector comprises: a printer body part 12; a print head 20 which is detachably held by the body part 12 so as to eject ink from a plurality of ink ejection nozzles formed on a nozzle surface; and the platen plate 55 which is arranged in such a manner as to face the nozzle surface of the print head 20, which supports recording paper 51 so as to specify a positional relationship with the print head 20, and which receives the ink ejected from the print head 20. The liquid ejector is provided with an ejected-ink tank 62 for housing and storing the ink which is ejected from the print head 20 and received by the platen plate 55. This prevents the ink, received by the platen plate 55, from overspilling from the platen plate 55.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To enable a drip-proof cover to be kept high in drip-proof properties without deteriorating heat dissipating slits in air permeability and to be easily detached from the case of an electronic equipment when it is out of use by a method wherein the cover is mounted on the side face of the electronic equipment in a detachable manner with its fitting pieces and engaging pieces. CONSTITUTION:A cover 1 is mounted on the side face of a monitoring device 30 where heat dissipating slits S are provided, fitting pieces 4 and 5 of the cover 1 are fitted into heat dissipating slits S3 and S4 and engaged with their lower edges. Then, an engaging piece 2a is made to bear against the outer upper edge of the slit S1. At this point, an engaging part 2 is displaced downwards as it is depressed, whereby the engaging part 2 is made to pass through the heat dissipating slit S1, and when the engaging part 2 is set free from a pressing action, the engaging piece 2a is engaged with the inner upper edge of the slit S1. That is, the fitting pieces 4 and 5 are engaged with the lower edges of the slits S3 and S4, and the engaging piece 2a is engaged with the upper edge of the slit S1, whereby a drip-proof cover 1 is fixed to the side face of the monitoring device 30.

SOLUTION: The conveying apparatus is equipped with a retainer sheet 27 which is arranged upstream in a conveyance direction of the recording paper P from a line head 11 and presses the recording paper P towards a platen. An upstream side of the retainer sheet 27 in the conveyance direction of the recording paper P is supported, and a downstream side of the retainer sheet 27 in the conveyance direction of the recording paper P is made a pressing contact part 27a which extends towards the line head 11. The pressing contact part 27a is shaped so that both right and left end parts extend longer than a center part, and also so that both of the right and left end parts are directed to a center line of the conveyed recording paper P.
