Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a neck assembly to be approached to a display image side and shorten a length of a whole cathode-ray tube device without reducing speed modulation efficiency and convergence correction efficiency by arranging a ring-shaped magnet for displacement correction of electron beam on an outer periphery of a speed modulation coil. SOLUTION: In a neck assembly 20, an inner periphery of a plastic ring- shaped magnet 26 holds a ring-shaped magnet 26 between a magnet retainer 22f and a claw 22d so as to abut with an outer periphery of an eaves 22a of a coil shaped bobbin 22 and is positioned on an outer periphery side of a speed modulation coil. Thereby, even if a coil bobbin 22 is shortened in a tube axial direction of a cathode-ray tube and a length on a deflection yoke side is shortened, it is possible to dispose them at an optimum position relevant to an electron beam tube without shortening a length of the speed modulation coil, the speed modulation coil is disposed in contact with the deflection yoke, making it to possible to adjustment and correction of characteristics, and a whole device can be shortened.
