PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a configuration which is capable of copying play list sequence information to be applied to reproduction of copy data in data copy processing between media, to use the information for reproduction.SOLUTION: A data processing part of an information processor, which executes copy processing of recording recorded data of a first medium into a second medium, executes processing of generating an attribute file in which play list sequence information indicating the use sequence of a play list to be applied to reproduction processing of copy data included in received information from a management server is stored, and of recording the attribute file into a copy destination. When copy data recorded in the second medium is reproduced, the play list sequence information is acquired from the attribute file and reproduction processing is performed accordingly to the acquired play list sequence information, whereby contents are correctly reproduced.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance efficiency in managing and providing contents by unit by recording contents in an information recording medium by downloading, copying, or the like. SOLUTION: In constitution to record utilization management contents in data recordable media such as an R/RE type disk, contents certificate of each unit (CPS unit), license information, and unit-based token including signature data based on data including media discrimination information of content recording destination are generated, these management data are recorded in media together with a content management unit. By using this constitution, since management data are set for each unit, when contents are added, unit-based management data can be quickly obtained, generated, or recorded. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a configuration of attaining smooth reproduction in reproducing contents adopting a plurality of play lists. SOLUTION: An integrated play list is produced through integration processing of the plurality of play lists in the execution of reproduction processing of contents divided into a plurality of reproduction segments wherein an individual play list corresponds to each reproduction segment, and the content reproduction is executed on the basis of the produced integrated play list. Alternatively, a classification number as play list selection information is stored in a register, the plurality of classification numbers stored in the register are sequentially acquired by a movie object command, the selection processing of the play list is executed and the content reproduction is executed on the basis of the selected play list. SOLUTION: In the manufacturing of an information recording medium in which a segment as a content recording unit in the information recording medium is configured so as to have a plurality of variations applying respectively different encryption keys and which stores encryption contents in which a sequence set by selecting a particular variation can be decrypted at the time of reproduction processing, encrypted contents applying an auxiliary file and a key file are generated. For example, when each sector is data for a segment part, data for a non-segment part, or data for a segment part, a segment number and a variation number are recorded in an encrypted auxiliary file, and a key to be applied to encryption to each sector data, that is, a unit key and a segment key can immediately be discriminated. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a system and a method for processing information, which can execute an effective processing using an effective key block(EKB) using a categorized key structure. SOLUTION: This system comprises a configuration, which provides a device with an EKB that is generated from encrypted data of an upper key by a lower key of a key tree by selection of a path configuring the key tree, which has a plurality of sub trees categorized and managed by category entity, where the EKB is issued and managed in accordance with an EKB type definition list that brings an EKB type identifier into corresponding with identifying data for more than one category trees capable of an EKB processing.

SOLUTION: The purchase history of contents A whose ID is set to usage control status(UCS) A10 is set to 'purchase history'. For example, the number of times of reproduction or the like is stored and when the number of times is greater than a prescribed number, selection of a prescribed utilization style with a set discounted price is enabled. The utilization history such as how many times contents A are actually utilized is stored in 'utilization history' and when the number of times is greater than the prescribed number, the selection of a prescribed style where a discounted price is set, is enabled.

SOLUTION: A communication section 101 of the processing unit 100 receives contents decoding encrypted key Kde (Kcd) that is generated by encrypting a contents decoding key Kcd to decode encrypted contents Kce (Cont) that are encrypted by a contents encryption key Kce. The received encrypted contents decoding key Kde (Kcd) are sent to a contents key decoding section 131, where the encrypted contents decoding key Kde (Kcd) are decoded by using a delivery decoding key Kdd. The decoded contents decoding key Kcd and a copy control code are sent to a contents key encryption section 133, where the decoded contents decoding key Kcd and the copy control code are encrypted by using an encryption key that is decoded by an external information processing unit 200 such as a session key Ksession and the obtained contents decoding key Ksession (Kcdcx) to be encrypted with the copy control code is sent to the external information processing unit 200 via a communicated section 105.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately execute processing based on a prescribed processing block and deciphering processing by simple constitution in the case of ciphering data processed by compression or the like in each prescribed processing block in each prescribed ciphering block and storing the ciphered data in a storage medium. SOLUTION: The data processor is provided with a ciphering/deciphering unit 64 for ciphering/deciphering data in each ciphering block of prescribed data length, a compression/extension module 45 for applying prescribed processing to data in each processing block having integer times the data length of the ciphering block and a flash memory 34 for storing ciphered data. A portable player 4 writes data in the flash memory 34 so that data stored in the same ciphering block are stored in the same processing block and reads out data from the memory 34 in each processing block.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a user to normally and surely decode enciphered information by demanding transmission of a second key, when a decoding means cannot decode a first key. SOLUTION: This device is equipped with a decoding means (a decoding unit) 91 for decoding a first key by a second key and a demanding means (a communication part) 61 for demanding the second key, when the decoding means 91 cannot decode the first key. This communication part 61 communicates with a service provider 3 or an EMD service center 1 via a network 4, receives or transmits specified information. Also, a decoding unit 91 of a decoding/ enciphering module 74 decodes an enciphered contents key Kco by a distribution key Kd and outputs it to an enciphering unit 93. Thus, the first key is decoded by the second key and, when it cannot be decoded, transmission of the second key is demanded; so that even if a data provision side changes a key in an arbitrary timing, a user can normally and surely decode enciphered information.
