Abstract: PURPOSE:To prevent an eject due to a tape cut detection, etc., and to restrain a mechanical noise by rotating one of a pair of reel hubs incorporated in a cassette type connecting part with a rotating mechanism constituted of a belt provided with a guide roller synchronously with a capstan. CONSTITUTION:When the output signal of a compact disk player is transmitted to the magnetic head 16 of an on-vehicle cassette tape recorder and reproduced the head 16 and the magnetic head 33 of a mechanical deck are in close contact with each other in a facing condition and at the same time, a pinch roller 34 is rotated and in close contact with a capstan 32 via a belt 24 provided over a pair of guide rollers 22 and 23. By rotating the capstan 32, the belt 24 is rotated and a reel hub 10 is rotated synchronizing with the capstan 32. Thus, the free travelling of the reel hub 10 on a take up side is prevented and the eject of the connecting part by a tape cut and rotation detecting mechanism is prevented.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To control the operation of an acoustic device on a reproduction device-side mounted on a vehicle mainbody by remotely controlling the acoustic device in accordance with the operation state of a reproduction device. CONSTITUTION:A cassette adapter 4A is inserted into the cassette insertion port of a cassette deck, and the signal input/output terminal of a compact disk player is connected to the plug 4B of the adapter 4. When the deck starts a reproduction operation, a sound signal reproduced in the player is inputted to an impedance modulation circuit 11 so as to modulate it, is supplied to the magnetic head of the deck through the head 12 and it is outputted from a speaker. Then, an ACC power source is turned off. When the output of a pulse signal for a control signal circuit 10 is eliminated, the circuit 10 supplies voltage to the terminal of the player, the reproduction operation of the player is stopped and the power source is turned off so as to avoid power from continuously being supplied from a battery.

Further, even when there is no correlation between the pronunciation and spelling of the word in the foreign language, the objective word can be easily retrieved with the reading as the retrieval condition.
