Abstract:
A client transmits Event::Subscribe('DSI_CHANGED') to a server. The server returns an event number preset for the 'DSI_CHANGED' event. After obtaining the event number, the client transmits Event::notify to the server and requests a certain notification of occurrence of an event including a 'DSI_CHANGED'. When the DSI of the received carousel is changed, namely, a 'DSI_CHANGED' event occurs at a certain timing after the reception of the Event::notify, the server transmits the event number corresponding to the 'DSI_CHANGED' event to the client in response to the Event::notify. For the period from the time when the server notifies the client of the occurrence of the event number till the time when the client transmits Session::detach to the server, the contents of the carousel before the event number occurs is used continually.
Abstract:
An automatic level adjusting system for a television receiver which is suitable as its automatic white balance adjusting circuit. In the manufacturing-process of the television receiver, desired data is selected from a positional data group of black or white reference pulse signal to be inserted into a video signal and is stored in a non-volatile memory, whereby when an image is reproduced, black or white level of the video signal is adjusted automatically on the basis of the data stored in the non-volatile memory. Thus, the insertion position of black or white reference pulse signal can be changed without modifying the hardware of the television receiver so that the automatic level adjusting system can be applied commonly to different types of television receivers.
Abstract:
SO3055 A method and apparatus for use with a television receiver wherein a television signal is processed in a digital form and which includes a memory for storing data to control such processing, in which a circuit is provided for refreshing the data in the memory at certain regular periods and a circuit is also provided for writing input data into the memory at the appropriate location at any time new data is desired to be input by the user. An operating method is also provided to accomplish the functional tasks of the refreshing circuit and interrupt circuit.
Abstract:

PCT No. PCT/JP84/00244 Sec. 371 Date Jan. 10, 1985 Sec. 102(e) Date Jan. 10, 1985 PCT Filed May 16, 1984 PCT Pub. No. WO84/04643 PCT Pub. Date Nov. 22, 1984.A ghost cancelling system has a transversal filter connected to a video signal source to produce a ghost cancelling signal, composed with a video signal from the video signal source by use of a composer. A circuit is provided for detecting a ghost level during a predetermined period, including a masking pulse forming circuit and a detecting circuit for detecting a reference time point, a circuit for forming a standard waveform from the output of the detecting circuit, a circuit for subtracting the standard waveform from the video signal derived from the composer, and a circuit for detecting a ghost level from the output of the subtracting circuit. A signal derived from the masking pulse is supplied to the transversal filter for controlling its operation.
Abstract:
A method and apparatus for use with a television receiver that processes a television signal in digital form and that has the functional units of the receiver controlled by digital data stored in internal registers, in which a dedicated non-volatile memory is provided for storing initial data along with a control circuit for setting such initial data into the appropriate register so that when the receiver is adjusted for the first time following manufacture spurious data will not cause circuit elements of the receiver to be damaged.
