Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain a simple phase control circuit suitable for circuit integration without requiring separately an amplifier and a phase shifter by operating a circuit as a mere amplifier at a time and a phase shifter at another time by means of a switching signal. CONSTITUTION:An index signal applied to a terminal 21 is fed to a base of transistors (TRs)Q1, Q2 connected differentially to a constant current source 22. The collector of the TRsQ1, Q2 is connected respectively to a TR of differential amplifiers 23, 24. An output of the differential amplifiers 23, 24 is controlled by a negative/positive switching signal applied to a terminal 31. Outputs S1, S2 of the differential amplifiers 23, 24 are in-phase at positive and the level is the same and the outputs S1, S2 are in-phase but different from the level at negative. Thus, an output signal being in-phase as the input signal is obtained at an output terminal 43 at positive (mere amplifier), and an output signal with phase correction is obtained at negative (phase shifter).
