Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and rapidly search a desired bookmark. SOLUTION: A bookmark display control part displays, with respect to sentences, words or characters in an electronic book having different bookmarks set therein, a bookmark list screen for displaying a content of the electronic book of a predetermined character number entirely or partially including sentences, words or characters with bookmarks set thereto on windows 162-1 to 162-4 on a display part 11. A user can scroll the display position of content within the windows 162-1 to 162-4 using a cursor 21 or the like. This method can be applied to the electronic book display device. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To quickly reproduce encrypted contents. SOLUTION: When recording content data in a predetermined storage after encrypting by a cryptography, some of the content data are encrypted by a encryption system which is different from the one used to encrypt the whole content data or are not encrypted, and placed in the fringe data, and recorded together with the content data in the storage (recording medium). When reproducing the content data recorded in the storage, they are reproduced, after encrypting the content data in the fringe data by a decryption system different from the one used to decrypt the whole content data encrypted by another system or without decrypting them. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a time setting system or a time setting method capable of setting a time accurately even when transmission of time information is delayed. SOLUTION: This time setting system for setting a master time outputted from a master device in a slave time of a slave device clocking independently of the master device is equipped with a transmission means for transmitting master time requirement information for requiring the master time to the master device through a network. The master device is equipped with a tolerance information acquiring part for acquiring tolerance information for showing an allowable time wherein the master time is allowed to be set in the slave time of the slave device, and a transmission means for transmitting the master time and the tolerance information to the slave device. The slave device is constituted so that a difference time between the first slave time acquired before and after transmission of the master time requirement information and the second slave time acquired at the reception time of the mater time and the tolerance information is determined, and that, when the allowable time is larger than the difference time, the master time is set. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a content sharing system for efficiently executing copyright management, and for improving the degree of freedom and convenience of contents sharing within a private use range. SOLUTION: A group management server 20 group-registers a plurality of contents processors 10 by owner units, and reports the group ID. A content recording device 10 adds recorder ID to prepared contents. Also, the content reproducing device 10 controls the reproduction of the contents on the basis of the recorder ID read from the contents and a reproduction permission ID list. When the group ID is made coincident between the contents processors, the recorder ID can be added to the reproduction permission ID list. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely detect an electronic watermark image without giving an influence to an original image in an image by making the intensity of the electronic watermark image constant regardless of the image quality. SOLUTION: An electronic watermarks inserting part 2 inserts a watermark image into the original image. An electronic watermark intensity detecting part 6 detects the intensity of the electronic watermark image inserted into the original image, and sets the electronic watermark intensity in accordance with the intensity of the electronic watermark image. For this reason, the irregularities of the electronic watermark intensity are eliminated and the electronic watermark intensity can be optimally set. It is accordingly possible to prevent electronic watermark influence from appearing on a screen and the electronic watermark from not being detected.
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately detect an electronic watermark from a DCT (Discrete Cosine Transform) area, even when the area setting of an electronic watermark pattern does not match DCT block configuration. SOLUTION: The electronic watermark detector 10 is provided with a correlation detection section 12, that detects an electronic watermark component detection value WM which is the correlation value between an electronic watermark pattern W to be detected and detection object image data Y by each one a plurality of areas set to the detection object image data Y. The electronic watermark detector 10 uses the correlation detection section 12 for obtaining a correlation value to be extracted from one area not only from the data of that area, but also by performing correlation arithmetic operations between the overall detection object image data Y and an electronic watermark pattern for calculating the correlation value of each area of the same size as that of the detection object image data Y. Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital watermark embedding processing device and its method, that can stably detect a digital watermark. SOLUTION: The digital watermark embedding processing device is configured to respectively detect a digital watermark, corresponding to each bit from an image to which the digital watermark has been embedded, for setting the strength of the digital watermark pattern of each bit, on the basis of excess/deficiency of the strength of detecting the digital watermark corresponding to each bit thereby executing re-embedding or additional embedding. Furthermore, the processing device sets an object detection strength, embeds additional bits with low strength on the basis of the setting object value and conducts embedding with reverse correlation as to bits with excess strength. Furthermore, the added or adjusted embedding strength is set on the basis of small area data of an original image. As a result of this configuration, the digital watermark can stably be detected from the embedded image, and the deterioration in the image quality by the digital watermark pattern can be suppressed.
