Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a stable data reproducing output by setting the weight of a chucking pulley at a specific value against the weight of an optical disk and thereby suppressing the focus resonance of the disk caused by an optical pickup. SOLUTION: A ring-shaped weight 43 is stuck to the outer peripheral position of a chucking magnet 39, on the circular plate 37a of a chucking pulley 37, with its weight designed to be 14-22 g, which is equivalent to 1 to 1.5 times the weight of about 16 g of the optical disk 1, and with the chucking force of the chucking magnet 39 set to be about 3 times or 220 g. As a result, the oscillation frequency of the optical disk 1 during the skew operation is greatly reduced at any position among the outermost, intermediate and innermost circumference, enabling the resonance frequency of the optical disk 1 to be largely shifted from the resonance point against a movable chassis and a skew adjusting plate, attenuating the resonance phenomenon of the optical disk 1, suppressing the focus resonance, and making stable focussing possible.

PURPOSE:To reduce the number of parts and to simplify the constitution and also to reduce the installation space. CONSTITUTION:A cartridge holder 77 is formed with a notched part 113 to which a magnetic head and an optical head are allowed to face, and a cam hole 103 consisting of an inclined part 103a and a straight line part 103b is also formed and this cam hole 103 is engaged with a shutter opening pin 104 which is constituted to be freely movable between the beginning position and the ending position of the cam hole 103. A coil spring 105 having three coil parts 105a, 105b and 105c is stretched between this shutter opening pin 104 and the cartridge holder 77, and the shutter opening pin 104 is energized to the side of the beginning position by spring force of this torsion coil spring 105.
Abstract:
PURPOSE:To efficiently suppress the generation of focus resonance by parting the mount surface of a chassis by means of a slit to a spindle motor mount surface and a pickup mount surface. CONSTITUTION:The mount surface 6 of the chassis 8 is nearly completely parted by the 2nd slit 9 to the spindle motor mount surface 10 and the pickup mount surface 11. Then, the vibrations of a voice coil motor 54, etc., of the pickup 5 disposed on the pickup mount surface 11 are not directly transmitted to the spindle motor mount surface 10 via the mount surface 6 and are transmitted only via a thick rib part 7a having the natural frequency higher than the natural frequency of the thin mount surface 5 and the amplitude smaller than the amplitude level thereof. The amplitude level of the vibrations transmitted from the pickup mount surface 11 to the vibrating pickup mount surface 10 side is lowered and the generation of the focus resonance by the rib part for supporting the motor is effectively suppressed.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pendulum device capable of simplifying constituting members and superior in controlling and its energy supply control method. SOLUTION: In an energy supply control method for pendulum device continuous pendulum motion of the pendulum 4 which a weight 15 is hung down with a wire 16, provided are a vertical motion mechanism 5 for supplying energy by vibrating a pendulum up and down as the energy supply means, a velocity sensor for detecting the velocity of magnetic field sensor 6 for detecting the phase information around the pendulum 4, and a control circuit part 8 for controlling the motion of the vertical motion mechanism 5, based on the signals of magnetic field sensor 6 or velocity sensor. The control circuit part 8 calculates the amplitude of the pendulum from the output signal of the magnetic field sensor 6 or the velocity sensor. When the calculated value becomes lens than a determined level, an operation signal is sent to the vertical motion mechanism 5 and the energy from vertical vibration is given to the pendulum.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To clearly show a write-protect state of a naked disk. SOLUTION: Relating to a disk having a recordable area for data, a record permission judging part 16 which clearly shows whether or not a record processing is prohibited to the disk D is formed on a transparent side 11 other than the record area on the disk D. Moreover, the record permission judging part is formed in an inner peripheral part 13 which is a reflection area 12. Further, a disk drive is provided with the record permission Judging means for detecting a state of the record permission judging part 16 and judging whether or not it is possible to process recording on the disk D.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To protect the forward end of a load beam against torsional oscillation due to horizontal external force being applied to a slider. SOLUTION: A flexure 25 is disposed while aligning the longitudinal direction thereof with the seek direction (shown by arrows a, b) of magnetooptic disc thus absorbing the horizontal external force Tx through torsional deformation at the intermediate part 25c of flexure 25. Consequently, the horizontal external force Tx is prevented from being transmitted to a load beam 28.
Abstract:
PURPOSE:To prevent the generation of a moment by the movement of a traveling body while displacement detection is carried on by making the center of gravity of the traveling body, driving force center of an actuator, and supporting center of a supporting member coincident with each other. CONSTITUTION:A focus error signal detecting system 1 detects the deviation of the distance between an objective lens and surface 14 to be measured from the focal distance of the lens from reflected light from the surface 14. The detecting system l is integrally fixed with a spindle 2, spindle joint 3, scale 4, lift bar 5, bobbins 6R and 6L, coil 7, and balance weight in an integrally movable state. The center of gravity of the traveling body composed of these components, driving force center of an actuator 9 which drives the traveling body, and supporting center of a supporting member which supports the traveling body are made coincident with each other. Therefore, the moment around the supporting center can be made zero and, as a result, the rolling of the traveling body in its longitudinal direction can be prevented and the servo characteristic (response frequency characteristic) of the traveling body can be improved.

PURPOSE:To provide a displacement detecting device which can improve the servo characteristic of a whole traveling body by raising the frequency at the primary resonance point of a coil supporting member. CONSTITUTION:Bobbins R6-R and L6-L are asymmetrically constituted with respect to a plane including a center line 15 in the moving direction of a scale 4 and a balance weight 8 is stuck to the left-side projecting end section of the bobbin R6-R and right-side projecting end section of the bobbin L6-L, namely, to the projecting sections of the bobbins R6-R and L6-L on the opposite sides of the scale 4 sticking sides. In addition, reinforcing members 16 are stuck to the right-side projecting end section of the bobbin R6-R and left-side projecting end section of the bobbin L6-L, namely, to the end sections of the bobbins R6-L and L6-L on the scale 4 sticking sides.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To constitute an information space for conversation (information exchange) suitable for a possible style of a conference, a lecture, etc. SOLUTION: Four kinds of information space of (1) a classroom style, (2) a round-table style, (3) a self-studying style, and (4) a composite style of the classroom style and round-table style are defined. In the information space of, for example, the composite style, a moderator sets up a classroom 20 and has the right of browser control over all users in the classroom 20. The moderator has the right of browser control over the user in a round table 21. The moderator can chat with all the users in the classroom 20 and also chat with the users in the round table 21. Users in the round table 21 except the moderator can chat within the round table 21 and users who are users in the classroom 20 and do not join in the round table 21 can chat with users who are in the classroom and not in the round table 21.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pendulum device which can continuously work with small power and, at the same time, the size of which can be reduced and a method for supplying energy to pendulum. SOLUTION: In a pendulum device having a pendulum 20 constituted by hanging down a weight 9 with a wire 10, a vertical moving mechanism 30 which supplies energy to the pendulum 20 by exciting the pendulum 20 in the vertical direction in accordance with the period of the pendulum 20 is provided. Since the vertical moving mechanism 30 which excites the pendulum 20 in the vertical direction in accordance with the period of the pendulum 20 is provided, and the energy supply to the pendulum 20 by gravity shifting is utilized as a resonant phenomenon; a pendulum device which continuously works with very small power and a method for supplying energy can be realized by utilizing the energy supply to the pendulum 20 by gravity shifting as a resonance phenomenon.
