    Abstract: PURPOSE:To remotely control complicated operations of a recording and reproducing machine in lightening the burden on the side of a controller. CONSTITUTION:Schedule data is transmitted from an up-link system 100 via a communication satellite 300 to a down-link system 200. The schedule data is inclusive of operation data for showing recording or reproducing and its relevent operation, time data for showing at least operation commencing time and position data for showing recording and reproducing positions of a recording medium. The received schedule data is stored in a nonvolatile RAM in a control part of a VTR 203. Recording or reproducing and its relevent operation are automatically performed by the VTR 203 based on the schedule data. It is not necessary to control operation of the VTR 203 by supplying appropriate commands in real time, so that at the time of complicate control on plural operation modes of rewinding and preroll, etc., in addition to recording or reproducing, the burden on the side of the controller is lightened.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To efficiently input a character by adding a specific shortening key to a normal operation key, assigning a word or a sentence of high using frequency to one character and using a word or the like specified by the character key and the specific shortening key and a space. CONSTITUTION:A keyboard 4 is provided with alphabetical keys, a space key and specific shortening keys 11a, 11b. A CPU1 processes and controls signals from the keyboard 4 as code signals. A library 3 storing words, ending of words or sentences of higher using frequency which are related to each character is connected to the CPU1. When a code signal is inputted from the keyboard 4, the CPU1 reads out the code signal of an assigned word, the ending of a word or sentence from the library 3, and added with the code signal to a space to the end of the word, the ending of a word or the sentence, and these results are written in a memory 2.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device capable of recording/reproducing data of a large volume at a high speed while performing the re-recording operation right after the recording is made. SOLUTION: In this data recording/reproducing device, the information of read-after-write and the information on the time at the recorded point are recorded when supplied input data are recorded by the data recording/ reproducing part 7. The read-after-write is performed by the data recording- reproducing part 7 at the time of recording, and re-recording block is made to record on the tape consecutively to a previous block failed in the recording. At the time of reproduction, at least the reproduceable data by the data recording/reproducing part 7 out of the data of the previous block failed in recording or of the re-recording block, are outputted to the outside as effective data.

Then a mode containing a header number produced by dividing description of items is supplied via a control key. Then the document data produced previously is read through a floppy disk 30, and it is detected that a header number N is added. A new header number, N=N+1, is set and stored to a working memory 21. While the header numbers are added automatically on a document text.
