Abstract: PURPOSE:To reduce the power of a switching mechanism and to prevent generation of a gear noise by setting engagement of a transmission gear to various operation modes in accordance with positions of a switching plate. CONSTITUTION:If a switching gear 3 is brought into contact with a cam gear 2 to turn a cam 1 by 180 deg. counterclockwise in a figure (a), a slide lever 4 is moved left by the apex of the cam 1, and the mechanism is switched to the state shown in a figure (b). At this time, a projecting piece 5b of a slide lever 5 collides against a switching plate 9 and the slide lever 5 cannot be moved because the swtiching plate 9 is locked by a lock plate 12. Consequently, a spring 6 is pulled by movement of the lever 4. When a switching gear lever 3a is driven in the disengaging direction after the cam is turned by a prescribed angle, rotation of the cam 1 is stopped, and the lock plate 12 is moved backward to unlock the switching plate 9. Then, the lever 5 is charged rightward by the spring 6 and collides against the cam 1 while pushing the switching plate 9 with the projecting piece 5b, and thus, the mechanism is switched to the state shown in a figure (c).

Abstract: PURPOSE:To eliminate a loading exclusive motor to realize a compact structure of a cassette tape recorder, by giving reciprocating motion to a cassette pull- in/loading mechanism by means of the forward/reverse driving of a capstan driving motor. CONSTITUTION:A cassette 1 is automatically pulled in and loaded into a cassette holder 2 with an automatic ejecting operation through mechanical actions by means of a cassette pull-in/loading mechanism 33, the forward/reverse driving of a capstan motor 11 and a gear 47 fitted with a cam groove. The forward/ reverse revolution of the motor 11 is controlled by turning on and off a cassette detection switch 43, and at the same time both soft loading and ejection are possible just with the forward/reverse driving of the motor 11. For instance, if a detection switch 13 is turned on with insertion of a cassette, the motor 11 is revolved forward. Then either one of capstans 4 and 5 is revolved, and at the same time the gear 47 is driven to drive a pull-in action lever 35. Then a cassette pull-in member 25 is forcibly moved back by a pull-in lever 34. Thus the cassette 1 is pulled in automatically up to the prescribed position by an interlocking part 28 of the member 25.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To facilitate easy handling of a cassette tape recorder, by returning a holding member from the cassette device position to the inserting position to provide a bistabilizing means which reverses a cassette holding member to the other state, and driving a tape in a prescribed direction when said bistabilizing means is set in one of said states. CONSTITUTION:A 1-cycle reverse switch 209 is turned on, and a cassette holding detection switch 200 is turned on when a cassette tape is taken out of a cassette holder. Thus the Q output of a detection flip-flop circuit FF6 is turned into an H signal and applied to a circuit FF7 for designation of tape traveling direction as a set input. The Q output of the FF7 is applied to a system control circuit 206 to perform a prescribed mode switching action in response to the tape traveling direction. The switch 200 is kept in an off state while the tape cassette is held within the cassette holder. Thus the Q output of the circuit FF6 is kept at a reset state of an L signal.
