Abstract: A rope system comprising: a cover (102) having at least one channel and two terminal ends; and a bundle of fibers (104) that form a continuous loop, wherein the bundle of fibers is at least partially disposed within the cover (102) and wherein a portion of the bundle of fibers (104) extends beyond the two terminal ends of the cover and are exposed as loops (105). Moreover, a linked rope system (1800) of fibrous loops (1804), each loop being encased in a cover (1802) and a corresponding method of manufacturing said linked rope system (1800) is disclosed.
