Abstract: A core assembly for moulding and a method of moulding thereof. The core assembly may include a plurality of separable rigid parts configured to be joined together to form a hollow channel therebetween, and at least one insert configured to be removably insertable into the hollow channel and further configured to bear against at least two of the plurality of separable rigid parts so as to maintain the plurality of separable rigid parts in respective positions in an assembled state of the core assembly. An exterior surface of the core assembly in the assembled state may form a moulding surface.

Abstract: A seat-back (100) for a passenger seat. The seat-back (100) may include a core framework (110) having a backing frame layer (120) and a back-rest boundary frame structure (130) connected to the backing frame layer (120). The seat-back (100) may further include a flexible cover (150) which may be fitted over the core framework (110) and which may be configured to substantially enclose the core framework (110), such that a back-rest portion (152) of the flexible cover (150) may be suspended across the back-rest boundary frame structure (130) and a backing portion (154) of the flexible cover (150) may be extended over the backing frame layer (120), so as to tension the back-rest portion (152) of the flexible cover (150) across the back-rest boundary frame structure (130) for supporting and cushioning a back of a user received on the back-rest portion (152) of the flexible cover (150).
