Abstract: The loading aid is fitted to pivot to the side on the loading ramp, and is formed in such a way that with the ramp open the loading aid's longitudinal edge lying opposite the loading ramp side edge lies on the ground over its whole length. The length of the loading aid's transverse edges is selected so that with the loading ramp open it includes with the ground an angle which is less than 90 degrees and preferably less than 45.
