Abstract: The gauge is used in installing mixing valves for hot and cold water. The water connections are made so that no holes need be drilled into tiles on subsequently placing of tiles. The gauge has a clamping screw (2) held at one end of gauge block. Markings are provided along the length of this gauge, and the zero mark is made adjacent to the clamping screw. These markings are made to indicate the tile dimensions. The second screw (3) is held by a slot in block. This second screw is inserted into slot from the top and held by a pin against dropping out.
