    Abstract: A seal for use in a valve construction which has a member movable relative to a sleeve valve member and a housing enclosing the movable member and valve member. The seal has a port seal portion which extends through a port in the valve member with the inner rim of the port seal portion being in sealing contact with the movable member. Means are provided for biasing the port seal portion into sealing contact with the movable member.

    Abstract: Means for mounting a mixing faucet having a mixing valve in which the mixing valve is supported on a bracket attached to a sink top at its lower end. An escutcheon surrounds the mixing valve and is seated at its lower end upon the sink top. The upper portion of the escutcheon is attached to an upper portion of the mixing valve by a threaded nut, with the nut providing a downwardly directed force upon the top of the escutcheon to hold it to the sink top. There are seals at the upper and lower ends of the escutcheon so that the entire interior of the escutcheon is watertight.

    Abstract: An anti-siphon spray head has a housing and a chamber within the housing. An inlet and a plurality of spray openings communicate with the chamber. There is a flexible sleeve positioned within the chamber which masks the inlet to form an anti-siphon closure therewith. A movable valve member positioned within the chamber and within the flexible sleeve controls the flow of water from the inlet to the spray openings. There are means on the valve member which are in sealing contact with the flexible sleeve when the valve member is in a closed position.

    Abstract: ZERO INTERNAL PRESSURE CARTRIDGE A valve includes a sleeve having a water inlet and a water outlet. There is a stem movable within the sleeve to control the flow of water from the inlet to the outlet. A pressure member is positioned within the sleeve and coaxially arranged with the stem. The pressure member is fixed relative to the sleeve and is within the path of flow from the sleeve inlet to the sleeve outlet. A fixed seal is positioned between the stem and the pressure member and a seal of equal diameter, is carried by the stem and is in sealing engagement with the sleeve. The above described seals balance the stem.
