Abstract: Methods for forming hatch frames integral with a roof sheet for a car or container. In one embodiment the hatch frame is constructed so that the cutout portion forming the hatch opening is used to provide a hatch cover. Another embodiment includes the formation of a hatch frame and cover member, simultaneously with corrugations in the roof sheet.
