Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquefied gas transportation ship used for transporting an LPG, an LNG, a PLNG and liquefied carbon dioxide (LCD), and a transfer system used safely and efficiently for transferring the LCD from the transportation ship to an off-land injection well head. SOLUTION: This ship is a water plane LCD transportation ship of a liquefied carbon dioxide (LCD) transportation ship, and includes a pressurized and refrigerated LCD container, a cargo discharge pump provided in the container and for transferring the LCD along a conduit from the container, a booster pump for transferring the LCD along the conduit to a surface platform, the first backflow line from a downstream of the cargo discharge pump to the container, and the second backflow line from a downstream of the booster pump to the container. Abstract: A water-going liquefied carbon dioxide (LCD) transport vessel comprising a pressurised and refrigerated LCD container, a cargo discharge pump within said container for pumping LCD out of said container along a conduit, a booster pump for pumping LCD along the conduit to a platform, a first backflow line downstream of the cargo pump to the container, a second backflow line from downstream of the booster pump to the container, and optionally a heater arranged to heat LCD flowing from said vessel along the conduit.
