Abstract: A system for preventing a cartridge filter which is located inside the bin or hopper of a system from accidentally falling into the hopper because of failure of the operator to properly handle the cartridge filter during replacement of the cartridge filter with the system including a safety cage that is secured to the bin with the safety cage surrounding the cartridge filter and being spaced sufficiently far from the safety filter to permit free nonbinding removal and replacement of a filter cartridge while still permitting substantially unimpeded flow of air through the safety cage.
