Abstract: A center console (CC) for a vehicle, comprising a box (BC) comprising a stowage space to which access is controlled by two movable flaps (V1-V2), each having closed and open positions and being associated with an internal lighting device that has off and on states which are controlled, respectively, by open and closed states of a control member (OC) comprising two triggers (DO1-DO2) which are respectively associated with the movable flaps (V1-V2) and are each capable of being independently placed in a first position which brings about the open state or a second position which brings about the closed state depending on whether the associated movable flap (V1, V2) is in the closed or open position.
